Hello there! I wanted to say that I totally loved your story, your writting style is so cool and your story is very original. Anyway, I was curious about where do you find your inspiration to write this story? Like music or movies idk

leuthold preparatory didn’t have much outside inspiration if i’m honest. people that know me as a writer know that my stories all take place in the same kind of “world” and therefore are all connected/affected by the others. i only say this because it’s that connection that allows me to have an endless stream of inspiration because i am selfishly obsessed with the world(s) i have created. and them being connected allows for an endless amount of connections and an endless amount of self-pleasing behavior where i can stick in nuggets of gold for myself to see and know where that connection lies and, should anyone ever read all my stories, they would begin to see the connections :)
however! i do create playlists after i’ve come up with the entire story. almost all of my stories get playlists and things that help set me in the mood to continue writing them but the songs themselves remind me of the story, not-so-much the songs creating the story if that makes sense. if you want, i can write out the playlist, i don’t have spotify so no link :(
so my inspiration is mostly selfish and i encourage any other writer to be just as selfish in their obsession with their own story/world :D 🌹
