Jesus came down from the mountain with them and stood on a large area of level ground. A great company of His disciples and a huge crowd of people from all around Judea and Jerusalem and the area around Tyre and Sidon joined Him there. ~ Luke 6:17
OBSERVATION:
Just like He came down from Heaven to be among us...
...He came down from the mountain...
...and stood with them...
...on level ground...
He makes it easy for me to find Him and be with Him...
...it's me who goes uphill and struggles with the grade in search of Him...
...by myself..
APPLICATION:
Join Him on the level ground...
...in the company of those others who seek Him...
PRAYER:
Father God - Please forgive my stiff-necked willfulness that refuses to lean into Your presence when It's so obviously right in front of me, that encourages me to go my own way by myself... Thank You that Jesus is always at hand, drawing people to Him, gathering them from all corners... May I stay on His level ground and be brought back when I wander off uphill... In His loving and healing and rescuing Name, and for Your glory, praise, and honor...
As always, yours always, in all ways - through Him...
