GINA BELLMAN as SOPHIE DEVEREAUX Leverage 4.11 "The Experimental Job"
parker kissing hardison for a con again, even though they still haven't gotten together yet
+ parker being jealous of hardison getting attention from college girls even though its for the con
eliot succeessfully torturing information out of a CIA agent because they took hardison
parker swinking chairs at people to save hardison
we all know that “age of the geek” is hardison’s calling-card/catchphrase/philosophy/whatever
it’s something he prides himself in and he loves to exclaim it when he’s happy or proud or just accomplished something big
BUT
consider this: the only two other people that have canonically referred to/quoted “age of the geek” are parker and eliot
parker, in the experimental job- when one of the dustmen yelled that he was a geek, intending to be demeaning, and parker asked hardison, “should I tell him it's the age of the geek?” (his response: “he'll figure it out eventually”)
and eliot, in the long goodbye job, when they are all “dying” in the back of the van. the interaction went like this:
Hardison: Did Eliot make it?
Eliot: (weakly) Here I am. (they clasp hands) Age of the geek, brother.
(Hardison has a bloody smile)
and let’s not even GET I N T O the context and meaning of that one- how eliot’s literal last act before dying (first) was to make hardison smile one last time and clasp hands with him
anyways, don’t make me the only one that’s screaming about this
I mean of COURSE the only other people that have said hardison’s catchphrase are his soulmates!!! the logic is SOUND
The most hilarious thing is Parker kissing Hardsion as a cover. And the moment Hardison realize what she wants to do he tries to stop her because “holy hell, thats our first kiss.” but Parker doesn’t stop and goes for it 110%. And after the kiss Hardsion is so in panic and so confused, becasue “holy hell, that was our first kiss” that he deep throats his drink. while he tries to appear super cool for his cover

Interrogator: You ever count them?
Eliot: Counted what?
Interrogator: You know. The people you've killed?
(Eliot doesn’t answer)
Interrogator: Give me a ballpark. It's got to be a big number, right?
Eliot: You think asking me about my past is gonna open up old wounds? Maybe put me off balance a little? Make me easier to break?
Interrogator: I'm just trying to get to know you better. Why does that question make you so nervous? Is that what all this is for you? Are you trying to punish yourself for the things you've done?
(Eliot doesn’t answer)
Interrogator: I think that's it. I think the reason why you won't give me your word and walk out that door is 'cause you think you deserve to be here.
Eliot: What do you want to know? Names? Dates? Locations? (softly) You want to know what food was on their breath? Their eyes – what color their eyes were? You want to know the last words they spoke? You want to know which ones deserved it. Or, better yet, the ones that didn't? Do you want to know which ones begged? Do you know why I remember these things?
Interrogator: I don't know.
Eliot: You don't know? 'Cause I can't forget. So there's nothing you can do, no punishment you can hand out that's worse than what I live with every day. So, to answer your question, no. No, I haven't counted. I don't need to.
Interrogator (shaken): All right, we're -- we're done for the day

Okay, um, Eliot please don’t tell me you’re volunteering for this.
That just... doesn’t sound good
I was just thinking it’s funny that the guy’s name is Zilgram... and now here they are performing Stanley Milgram’s experiment with the “shock machine”. Apparently that similarity wasn’t a coincidence
