it will never not be funny to me how upset Eliot is with Hardison about trying to brew beer and the menu of the pub in 5x1 while everyone else has normal concerns

Ok freak
oh my god. the website i'm watching leverage on switched The Rundown Job and the Frame Up Job.
I was like 30 mins into the episode like "hm. I though this was supposed to be a big ot3 episode??? it's just nate and sophie." until I fuckign realized. goddamit lmao.
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ELIOT’S HAIR!!!!! SEASON FIVE EXPLAIN YOURSELF
The Toy Job (5x14) Well, it’s bland enough to slip through the cracks but quirky enough to seem novel. We just have to get the kids to go crazy for a toy that was once considered junk.
One thing I really like about Leverage is when the show gives the minor characters life and personality too. I rewatched The French Connection Job recently (which inspired this post) and that episode, to me, is a great example of this with Eliot’s cooking students.
Whitney’s first line is [paraphrased bc i can’t remember exactly], “Daddy took away my Beemer until I get some kind of degree.” She’s meant to be the perfect example of the rich kids that Lampard’s school is catering to -- people who don’t really care about cooking and are just here for shallow or selfish reasons.
That episode is centered around Parker, but Whitney also goes through a huge transformation! By the end she’s putting all her effort into being in the kitchen and correctly making the dish she’s in charge of causes her so much joy! Of course, her core personality hasn’t changed -- she’s still sort of ditzy (it always makes me laugh that she gets so thrilled and flustered after Eliot says her food is perfect that she almost forgets to put it on the plate). But I think that this proves that although Eliot is intense about food, he’s completely right about it. If we watch closely, we can see that learning from Eliot helped Whitney, a minor character that has like three lines total, discover a new passion.
One Dress a Week Project
April: Black
Leverage ("The Frame-Up Job") / Gina Bellman as Sophie Deveraux
For once, Sophie isn't intending to deceive anyone when she dresses up in this sequinned cold-shoulder black dress and silver pumps to attend an exclusive art auction. It just develops that way. It's a very simple look, but elegant enough to be believable when she quickly decides to pass herself off as a museum executive and a member of British nobility.
I had forgotten how OT3 heavy The Rundown Job is.
It's not just that metaphor scene. Eliot touches Hardison all the time.
