One of my favorite recurring gags in Leverage is how Hardison weaponizes the fear people have to actually be called out as racist/homophobic/transphobic and just uses it to its full advantage every time

“First season of LEVERAGE - so he's 21 years old - he shows me his watch designs. I'm expecting, y' know, celebrity strap branding or faces. No, it's engineering schematics of GEARS and shit. Pages of them. Even then, there were none so cool.” - John Rogers
The only “good ol’ boys” I recognize are the two behind the wheel, chasing down bad guys in Lucille
speaking of the leverage pilot.
hardison questioning what eliot even does on the rooftop-> eliot's first onscreen fight ending and him turning to hardison with a "that's what i do".
in a very meaningful way. both the show and eliot himself define his role on the team as someone who protects hardison.
rewatched the bank shot job and my partner was so enamored with all of hardison's unnecessary bits that this sprang into my mind fully-formed
Something something Eliot telling Hardison "don't do that again" in the Grave Danger Job, something something Hardison telling Parker "don't do that to me" in the Rundown Job.
I know Leverage is awesome at call backs and parallels between episodes, but I feel like this one isn't talked about enough!
I'm not in the headspace to articulate it, I just can't with these three, I adore them!
Average internet enjoyers: Can you believe all these lawsuits and charges and legal actions and someone fleeing to Mexico… all over a Lego collection??
Me, a Leverage Enjoyer: Where there is value there is crime
Fuck now I want Hardison doing a powerpoint on Star Wars Lego and their value
look I've not watched much Leverage or Leverage: Redemption, but I am utterly obsessed and besotted with Hardison and Parker's relationship (positive)
I love watching Parker say the most out of pocket thing and it just cuts to Hardison looking impressed or more in love
I love watching Hardison flirting with Parker and Parker not quite knowing what to do with herself other than to shake her head and smile
I love how crystal clear their affection for each other is in their body language
I'm literally suffering from a case of 'me and who else?' thinking about them goddammit-
