Do you think when Eliot said "Moreau would like to spesk to you," to Mark Vector, Vector knew Eliot worked for Moreau?

Like is that a thing Moreau's lieutenants would say to people? Was that last-nail-in-the-coffin freakout caused not by the general vague threat that statement implies, but by the absolute threat Eliot knows he knows it promises?

Like knowing what we know after The Pool Scene little things like this just feel so telling I love a good foreshadow

I really don't think they were actually planning this far out - as amazing as the show runners are - but I'm on a Leverage rewatch and can we just discuss Parker in The Second David Job for a moment?

Because I can't help but feel like there's already the seeds of Parker having that Mastermind potential. She is the one to suggest using Maggie as part of the con even while the broader s1 narrative is still about how they all each have their individual thing but Nate brings them all together.

The Give Me A K Job

Here are my thoughts and favorite moments from this episode (The five are colored like this: Nate Parker Sophie Eliot and Hardison):

Leverage S01E05 – The Bank Shot Job

Sheriff: That was a real brave thing you did, kid, stepping into a situation like that totally defenceless. Tell me something, all you FBI guys got cojones that big?

(While it seems like a joke, in retrospect, Hardison really was pretty damn brave to go in there, without any fighting ability, without guns, and let someone else point a gun at him.)

oh! with the leverage revival happening: sophie/parker?

This ask made me realize I’m super mainstream in my Leverage shipping LMAO. I only really shipped Hardison/Parker and Nate/Sophie, with some lowkey appreciation for the ot3. And after that my one crack ship is (Nate/)Sophie/Sterling LMFAO.

I think I had vague feelings with Parker and Nate’s ex-wife because I found Parker’s “crush” kind of cute xD. And I liked Sophie and her thief friend Tara. TBH I don’t remember many antagonistic f/f ships from here rn, but I’m sure some will come to mind right after I post this or you mention them xDD

give me a popular f/f pairing and I’ll tell you the antagonist f/f rareship I vastly prefer.

one of my favorite parts about Leverage though is how every season kind of ends up focusing on each team member. of course, everyone has beautiful arcs and character development throughout the series, but each season has one Very Meaningful Arc for a character

season 1: Nate finds revenge

season 2: Sophie finds herself

season 3: Eliot finds loyalty

season 4: Hardison finds his purpose

season 5: Parker finds her future

but at the end of the day, the most Meaningful moment - all of it comes together because they're together as a family who accepted each other and it's because of their family that each individual grows into a better person

and basically Leverage does such a great job of balancing individual character arcs, while exploring all the different dynamics, while also showing us time and time again that these five are family
