Manga. I fell in love madly with anime right away, but in manga there’s a certain something…..you just can tell he fucks nasty. All Levis do but manga Levi almost radiates it

I have so many favorites, but if I have to pick just one fic, it’s Restraint by gruene. Canon compliant, perfect characterization and has so many of my favorite kinks involved, it just has to be read by all Levi fans 🙂‍↕️

There's this one by that's my phonescreen saver that I love. This one here that always makes me want to cry bc I want to shower him in kisses and flower crowns. This one because Levi's bed hair just makes me feral, rgjhkd. I have too many, I'm afraid.

22. Favorite fight?

The Kenny vs Levi in S3 fight, hands down. We discover so much about Levi during that arc and the way it's portrayed in the anime, grey t-shirt and blood and all... phew, yeah. I could watch it for the rest of my life and never get bored (but then, I guess I feel this way about most of AOT).

I do! I have a Levi funkopop and a few acrylic stands. And a Levi keychain I won in a gacha machine in Japan. Oh, and lots of stickers!

23. Describe the type of dynamic/chemistry you would like to have with him (linking to a work as an example is also fine)

We are opposites in so many ways and I think that is what would start the attraction. I’d want to be the softness to his hard edges, and would see him as a man, not as a weapon or thing to be used.

In me, I hope he would see that gentleness can also be a kind of strength.

5. What are your hcs about Levi’s life pre-canon?

He practically ruled the underground. He did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. A kid thrown into those conditions pretty much growing up on his own….I can’t imagine he always made the best decisions. I think in time he grew frustrated bc he needed a real goal and there wasn’t much to move up from where he was, even if he went above the ground not much would change and he would still have to be like Kenny. That’s why the idea of freeing humanity appealed to him, he wanted an ideal, something to strive towards. And due to his environment and the fact he was a boy with superhuman strength left to his own devices, he started to have sex way too early, but never got into real relationships. He was too sexually active until the novelty wore off around mid twenties.

22. Favorite fight?

Is kicking someone considered a fight….kidding-

That scene where he stands on top of Annie’s titan and threatens to cut off her limbs with a crazy expression 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Saying that awakened something in me is the understatement of the century 😖 Also the bar part of the Kenny fight - where he turns the bottle with that incredibly attractive hand to aim at the reflection and shoots with that “Yeah” SKSJKS you guys know what I’m talking about 🙈

1. What’s your favorite thing about Levi?

I prepared the questions myself yet the first one is the one I find the hardest to answer 🙈🙈🙈 None of the singular answers seem right, and he’s just my type in literally every single way both physically and personality-wise 🫠 I’m gonna cheat a little and say it’s the combination of intensity with stoicism and incredible strength and discipline, and the contrast of violence and reliability….Also, the undercut. And the whole package. Including the huge package-(gets shot)

6. Favorite AU?

(continues to shamelessly cheat in answers) Variety of Military AUs. School caste for that ex-con gang-leader janitor Levi only, but I guess that just means I want a criminal Levi with a blue collar job in a modern AU? Mer AU. Mafia AU. Priest AU (especially with succubus or prostitute reader). Royalty AU with Levi as the knight or a thug, and reader as the princess or a type of nobility.

23. Describe the type of dynamic/chemistry you would like to have with him (linking to a work as an example is also fine)

A short answer could be this art. Also the oneshot I wanted to post but couldn’t finish before answering 😓😹 I really like the type of dynamic where a stoic, strict, no-nonsense, righteous (and self righteous, to make it even better) man who doesn’t easily get emotionally involved is seduced by someone of the opposite temperament, someone whom he sees as dangerous. Additionally I really like the “us against the world” dynamic where both people only care about each other, on a very unhealthy level.

Hello ma chère Dee, thanks for the questions! How is the holiday period treating you?

6. Favorite AU?

You know me and fantasy AUs, haha. I love anything fantasy-related, whether it be light-hearted or darker. That said, I'm also a sucker for Mafia AUs or anything imbued into history and crime.

11. Favorite Kink?

I had to think hard about that one (no pun intended, lol). Maybe Soft!Dom Levi who loves to give his partner pleasure and teases the hell out of them. But I also love the other way around, and seeing a character give that to Levi. It's the loss of control he usually doesn't allow that gets me good.

Oh and I'm a sucker for Levi being obsessed with making his partner come more than once. This "just one more, c'mon, I know you can do it--"

AHHHH.

17. What do you think is the perfect job for Levi in modern world?

Generally, I see him as a blue-collar worker. Running a tea-shop, maybe, or working as a carpenter. I also love the idea of him being a mechanic, but maybe that's just a fantasy of mine ;p

5. What are your hcs about Levi’s life pre-canon.

A thug all the way but he cared about his community.

He probably doesn’t see himself as a crime boss or his gang as organized crime. As far as he was concerned, he was just doing what he needed to do to survive, and other people needed help too.

Although he and Farlan are seen as equals, Levi prefers for Farlan to take the lead with communicating plans to the group.

And this is mainly because Levi hates being the center of attention. And if he’s being honest, he doesn’t think he’s very eloquent.

10. What are your favorite tropes?

Enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, soulmates, you fall first but Levi falls harder..

I love stories when Levi falls for someone who’s not a soldier, probably because I could never see myself being able to survive the survey corps, haha.

17. What do you think is a perfect job for Levi in the modern world?

Something blue collar, where his strength could be utilized. I could totally see him as a wind energy technician. Climbing and working on those big ass wind turbines requires strength and stamina, and he’d excel at the problem solving.

1. What’s your favorite thing about Levi?

Impossible question, fuhgjsd. I guess how caring and selfless he is, despite everything he's gone through.

20. Is there anything you wish was revealed/explored more about him in manga?

I think the manga does a pretty good job with his story. That said, I'd love to see more 'filler' content in general, and that extends to Levi: more content about him and Kenny, his bond with his squad, or even stories about him and the other vets.
