It all begins with your hair. I headcannon that, back in the Underground, Levi used to wash and braid his mother's hair, so he cherishes taking care of you in this same manner.

Cutting your hair, washing your locks or scalp, making sure it's held tight for expeditions if needed - Levi is conscious of the trust you place in him the first time you ask for his help. He grows to find stability in this routine: how warm and alive you feel beneath his soapy or conditioned fingertips, how relaxed you sound as he draws circles down the back of your skull, how he loves to listen to you talk about your day while he takes care of you. Sometimes, he'll catch sight of you playing with your hair across the dining hall - the hair he helped style that morning - and he'll feel warmth spread in his chest, knowing you carry a part of him with you.

Levi would never say it but those moments behind closed doors... yeah, they're incredibly special to him.

Thank you so much for sliding into my ask box with such a lovely idea! I did answer this in the past, but since I wrote a few things since, I figured I could give you an update. So hmmm..

we all bleed red (in progress, 106k) - Vampire!Levi x F!Reader, Victorian & Fantasy AU. This is the first long-fic project I started in years. It's been a blast to come up with the world building and adapt it with the AOT cast in mind.

you honor them by living (completed, 1k) - A character study of Levi. A gen fic that looks into Levi's character post-war. I liked exploring Levi without any romance.

a lesson in dancing (completed, 2.3k) - Postwar!Levi x GN!Reader. A one-shot that explores Levi's vulnerabilities. Levi experiencing peace is just very important to me :')

with you, at the end of all things (completed, 1.3k) - Postwar!Levi x GN!Reader. An exploration of the aftermath of the battle at Fort Salta.

we mourned the sea - Okay so I'm cheating because this isn't published yet... buuut this is my postwar longfic project (Levi x F!Reader). It's told from Levi's perspective almost entirely. It's been a precious passion project & I hope to release the first chapter very soon 👉👈

1. What’s your favorite thing about Levi?

Impossible question, fuhgjsd. I guess how caring and selfless he is, despite everything he's gone through.

20. Is there anything you wish was revealed/explored more about him in manga?

I think the manga does a pretty good job with his story. That said, I'd love to see more 'filler' content in general, and that extends to Levi: more content about him and Kenny, his bond with his squad, or even stories about him and the other vets.

23. Describe the type of dynamic/chemistry you would like to have with him (linking to a work as an example is also fine)
