The poor man gets so stressed out watching his baby go through the excruciating pain of turning into a toddler

Nah bc she’d waddle her way to him just to pull her little pouty face before doing that thing babies do before crying (idk what its called). My hc is that she's a quiet baby and only cries when it's necessary (falling or bumping her head) so she wouldn't just cry out of nowhere in the middle of the night.

Oof Levi would probably get so confused bye💀💀 I feel like he would talk to her like she's an adult

little daughter (who mayhaps needs a name?? if we want??) waddling in to levi's office in your home, hands grabbing onto his legs before climbing up onto him. levi figures nothing's wrong bc she's such a daddy's girl and is always wanting to be with him, but as soon as he looks at her and she makes that face he figures something's wrong.

and then god the crying - he's definitely the kind of parent who feels so bad when his kid cries, he feels like he's failing her when he can't figure out why she's crying. and he wouldn't want to bother you about it, so even when you call from another room asking if she was okay levi would just shout back a simple "i've got it" and then frantically try to figure out what the fuck is up with his daughter.

"okay, now let's not cry. you look fine, honey. i don't know what's wrong."

louder crying, you walking into the room, eyebrows furrowing as you watch levi try to calm her down before his worried eyes look to you for help.

"i think her teeth are coming in" is all you have to say before disappearing out of the room and coming back with one of those like teething things for babies (do those have a name???)

and then levi is just staring bc this dumb ass literally forgot she didn't have teeth and that those had to show up eventually

Levi would most definitely inspects his daughter before she leaves and when she comes back. The man is paranoid about his baby okay 😭

omg no the way i was flooded with ideas i will probably turn this into a fic swtg

but levi carefully holding his daughter by her upper arms and spinning her about, scanning every part of her body for little scrapes or cuts. and when she's younger she always watches him with her big gray eyes that match his, listening intently to her father's directions. one time she even makes him lift his arms up and checks him for any thing, gasping dramatically when she sees a healed scar on levi's hand and immediately drags him to get a band aid to cover it up, scolding levi for not being careful.

"no baby, it's a scar. it's healed, i promise." "no daddy, it's a mark. hold still. i need to fix it."

and when she gets older, she always gives him an eyeroll but still reluctantly does it, letting her very loving and surprisingly gentle father make sure that she's okay. she pretends to hate it, but it serves as a little reminder to her that levi really does love and care about her and wants the best for her.

and the day she's getting ready to move out for like school or something, he doesn't plan on looking her over. he figures she's old enough to take care of herself and probably doesn't want her father making sure she's okay anymore. but she's just standing by the door, patiently waiting for levi to come inspect her.

"you're practically an adult, i don't think you need me to do this anymore." "i'll miss you doing it though. just one last time? please, dad?"

levi finally giving in because even when he's an old man and his daughters practically a grown woman he can't say no to his baby.

ugh this is such a top tier idea ,,,, i definitely want to write a whole little thing on this bc it's literally so cute. tysm anon 🤎

When levora was little, Levi called her “pretty girl”🥺

He still does it now but not as much bc she's older and he doesn't want to embarrass her

Ex: “you awake yet pretty girl?” 🥺

He also does that chin tap thing where lifts her face up just a bit before leaving or dropping her off somewhere 🥺🥺🥺

just little lev going about her day, wanting to share something with levi. and she calls for him from the other room and a smile spreads across her features that are nearly identical to his as he responds with a "what is it, pretty girl?"

every night when he tucks her into bed he makes sure she knows that he loves her so much and that he'd move mountains to keep her safe and happy. reminds her every morning that she's perfect in every way and that if anyone ever treats her wrongly then they're the idiot, not her.

teenage lev who's just had her first break up and is locked in her room, crying with some sad song blasting through her speakers. and levi's just sitting out in the hallway, right next to her door, trying to think of how he's meant to comfort her. he didn't think he was good with these things.

but when he's gently knocking on lev's door and pushing it open, she's quick to open her arms from where she's sitting on her bed because she knows that he'll be able to comfort her when she needs it most.

"he said i wasn't good enough." "and he lied to you, pretty girl. you're more than enough. don't let some asshole who looks like the fucker from horton hears a who make you think otherwise."

levi who pretends he doesn't call her that whenever she brings it up. says he's only ever called her "brat" and lev just laughs bc levi can't even admit to her that's he's a big softie underneath his rough exterior.

and when she gets married, tears in his eyes while he walks her down the aisle, all levi can say as he releases her at the alter is "you're still my pretty girl" before proceeding to glare at lev's fiance and moving to his spot

Then he went on a rant on how she was never allowed to get married or have a boyfriend 😭

baby opens her eyes and levi is fighting for his life not to cry bc "holy fucking shit she has my eyes omg omg she looks just me"

and and she's so precious and he truly thinks she's so beautiful and loves her from the moment he first sees her and has such a strong need to protect her from the ugliness of the world for as long as he can that lowkey he can be vv overbearing
