you're in luck - after wandering for what seems like hours, still cradling the pokey ball in your hands, you find him - yeager. one of the few people in this city you trust and know well, you hope, almost desperately, that he will know what to do.
you approach him and ask, without reserve, "how do i use this?" you hold out the ball in your hand; it rests in your palm and glows softly under the light. "there was a flying honeycomb. it went inside of here, and... well, i'm not entirely sure on how to make it come out."

at one of the most tamest of sectors of the hive, kid decided to treat himself with some steak. been a while since he ate something damn near good in so long. it was about time, if you asked him.
he walked into a restaurant, making himself comfortable-- barking out about wanting a steak, followed by a glare. the waiter damn near toppled over a table before he scampered off into the back to give the order.
boots situated on the chair adjacent to the captain, he not-so patiently waited for his steak. several minutes passed by, half an hour even. the bastards were taking their damn time, tending to other customers, bringing their dishes faster than his despite them taking their orders minutes after his. he had just about enough.
grabbing onto the closest bastard ( thinking he was one of the waiters ) he could find, taking notice of the plate of steak in his hands-- he took it away from him before setting it down on his table. cutting a huge chunk of the steak, teeth bit down on the steak laid out before him. the pleasant scent of the meat wafted to his nose, a noise of approval escaped the captain.
"..Damn good steak. You bastards were taking your damn time with it.”
little did he know, the poor bastard he stole the steak from was in fact a customer moving tables and not one of the waiting staff.

(♥) As a newcomer to these premises, Riruka hated being lost. Approaching a nearby civilian, she boldly taps their shoulder. Their appearance didn’t matter to her nor their experience in the Hive. After catching their attention she crosses her arms, ❝ hey. I’m new here and I am in desperate need of a tour guide. I’ll give you ten bucks if you help me out. ❞ She knew people weren’t always so lenient, so she waved the few dollars between the slots of her fingers in bemusement.
(♥) ❝ Seems pretty worth it, don’t you think? It’ll be like an hour of your time. ❞
“You see all the shit that’s going on around the street corner, yeah?”
His voice was somewhat gruff, the only way he could truly keep it lowered when he didn’t want to get caught up in something. That something being a bitter mob beginning to congregate and take up space on the crosswalk not far off in the distance. Yata had only passed the stranger by chance, giving him a once over before his attention focused once more on the NPCs. He was getting tired of avoiding them, wanted to truly let off some steam on these assholes, but it wasn’t exactly smart. For once, he needed to use his head, but he would do it in a way that helped others, too.

He’s just jogging around the city without taking a breather.

Castiel wanders down the vibrant and colorful streets of sector four. Now that he’s become a little more acquainted with the city, he’s been making rounds, trying to form a proper cognitive map of all the city’s districts, just in case. So far, this has been the most... interesting. Cultures of all different kinds appear to be represented here, even ones he has never seen before - something very new to him as a celestial being. He concludes they must be from cultures outside of his universe: in his travels thus far he’s also realized that people from many different universes outside his own make up the population of this city. It’s a peculiar thing to consider, when one is an angel supposedly granted with the knowledge of all the cosmos.
The object in front of him is a fountain decorated in the center with a bizarre and intricately carved rock. A shining blue stone adorns the bottom center of the rock, and clean water pours forth from the fountain. Castiel studies it intensely, raking his mind for what sort of magic could cause this, but comes up empty.
