Marco smiled as he entered the building. It was an abandoned storage unit that was in the middle of a field. He had no idea why it was there, or what exactly was stored in it before, but it made him feel...peaceful. He sat down by one of the walls, closing his eyes and listening to the winds going throughout the two story building. But suddenly, he heard footsteps. His eyes shot open and his heart felt like it was going to come up his throat. Then, he heard running. He got up, and got in a defensive position.
"Who's there?" he asked, glancing around until he saw a hand gripping a wall. But whom did that hand belong to? He took a step closer, and suddenly it was gone. "C'mon, it's alright. Come out, I won't hurt you.." he said, suddenly realizing that the other was probably as scared of him as he of them. But no head peeked from behind the stone slab. Marco thought for a few moments, and then noticed a piece of chalk on the ground, and got an idea. He picked it up, and went to the wall, and started writing. hello! since you obviously dont want me to see you, how about we talk like this? ill set the chalk down and close my eyes. i wont peak, i promise! So Marco set the chalk down and stepped away, covering his eyes. He then heard walking, and a few moments of silence passed before chalk against stone and then more walking.
Marco shifted uncomfortably under Levi's burning gaze. The shorter one had been staring at him all through breakfast, morning training, and now lunch. Marco just hoped he didn't do anything wrong...though, he might be mistaken, but the stare maybe held a bit of...affection? What could he have possibly done to earn his captain's affection? Well, it was probably just his imagination either way. It still made Marco feel nervous. "Uh, Captain? N-not to be rude, but...why are you staring at me?"
Levi's expression did not change at all, and he continued his gaze, so Marco assumed he had not heard and was about to repeat his question when Levi spoke suddenly, "I'm trying to devise a strategy."
Marco said "Oh." before going silent again. Levi just kept on staring at him. "A strategy for what? Are we going on a mission soon...what do I have to do with it?" "I'm trying to make a plan on how to make you love me."
Marco couldn't help but let out a laugh at the ridiculousness of it. "Well I don't think you can make someone love you, Levi, I don't think it works that way." he replied. Levi frowned. "Then what am I supposed to do?"
Marco stopped laughing and his expression became more serious. Was Levi being serious? Then again, when wasn't the captain serious.. He sighed, and put a hand over the smaller one's. "Maybe you don't need to make me love you. Maybe I already do," the words spilled from his lips before he even thought about what he was saying, and Marco gulped when he saw a dangerous spark in Levi's eyes.
The next thing he knew, soft lips were roughly pressed against his, and he was being shoved onto the table, a small squeak coming from his throat before being smothered. He felt the smaller man beginning to unbutton his shirt with his free hand, the other holding Marco down. But then, they heard someone cough, and some giggling from a few other people. Marco's face flushed, becoming red as a tomato, and Levi got off of him. The captain glared at the others in the room as if it was their fault for being there, then grabbed Marco by the wrist and started dragging him somewhere. "We'll continue this in my quarters."
-giggles- The purrompt was 'love is a strategy'. Another humorous one to cheer you up! vov
Marco watched as the older but shorter man across from him gobble down a fifth piece of garlic bread. He had started noticing, when he began dating Levi, that he was quite obsessed with bread. He would have as much as he could if it was served at restaurants, he would always have some sort of sandwich in the morning, heck he even loved hamburgers. It was a wonder how much Rivaille could eat it, with how...small he was, not to insult him. Finally, Marco spoke up. "So, you really like that garlic bread, huh?"
Levi jumped up a little, becoming flustered and starting stuttering in some sort of attempt to explain himself. Eventually, he took a deep breath and his expression went back to his normal irritated look. "Yes, I do..it may seem simple, but it's one of my favorite foods..." he replied, just a tiny bit of blush covering his cheeks. Marco just smiled and hummed in response, and continued eating his own meal.
A few days later, Marco was in the kitchen, sighing and staring at his creation. This was no good, Levi would be back soon, and the taller was not satisfied with what he had done. No, not at all. Suddenly, he heard the front door open. Marco gasped and put a paper towel on the food, and ran out to greet his boyfriend. "H-hey, Levi! You're back early..." "And you're wearing an apron that's covered with flour. You were cooking?"
Marco laughed nervously. "Y-yeah, your deduction is correct... It's nothing, really, I don't even think I did right." Levi just ignored him and walked into the kitchen, moments later coming out with a big bowl of pasta in one hand, a basket of freshly baked garlic bread.
And thus, for a few minutes through dinner, Marco was barely pecking at his food. He was spending most of his time staring at Levi, trying to figure out whether the other liked it or hated it. After what seemed like an eternity of not being able to figure Rivaille out, Marco spoke, "I'm sorry. I know it's horrible and I shouldn't have tried to-" but he was cut off by a pair of lips on his.
He tensed up at first but after a while he melted into it, burying his fingers into Levi's thick, black hair. When they separated, they were both panting. "N-no, it's fine...good, actually. Thank you, Marco..." Levi said as he sat back down, wearing a forced looking smile. Marco grinned.
"Can I do this regularly the-" "No."
The prompt was obsession with bread vov
