⌁ zoey deutch ⌁ i always see JUNE FARROW hanging out in the SLYTHERIN common room. people say the FEMALE MUGGLEBORN is VIVACIOUS & SELFISH. rumor has it that amortentia smells like BROOM VARNISH to her. i always seem to wind up humming CHEWING GUM BY NINA NESBITT after i see them. they remind me of FIREWHISKEY-FLAVOURED LIPS, WIND-TANGLED HAIR, RIPPED FISHNETS.

okay so first thing you need to know abt this girl -- she’s selfish af and that’s the tea !! she will always put herself first !! the only person she’d ever put before herself is her twin brother robbin 

the two of them were the result of an affair btwn a very important muggle politician & a young, beautiful, idealistic university student. but when she got pregnant, he totally dipped !! he was selfish & ambitious, wanted to get to the top of his career, and a pregnant 22 y/o wouldnt help w that !! honestly june is far more like her father than her mother but she’d hex you if you ever suggested it

so their mother raised them alone -- she left school & got a job as a waitress to take care of them and basically sacrificed everything she could’ve had !! they never had much money lying around -- june’s father sent a monthly check as hush payment basically, but it still wasn’t much. june’s mother was v sweet and it was very unlikely she’d Expose™ him so he wasn’t worried about sending a lot of money.

june adores her mother to pieces -- she’s a badass strong, independent woman and you’ll never convince june otherwise. she never told them who their father was, instead telling them stories abt how he was a dashing pirate king or the man in the moon

but when she was 14 june found the monthly payment from her father in a tax return or smth and put two and two together. then dis slytherin bitch wrote a letter to her father demanding twice as much money for the shit he'd put her mum through or else she'd call up the newspapers immediately

and lo & behold they had enough money to move from their apartment into a house, their mum went back to school and got her degree and basically no one has said no to june since eijdlksf

anyways is it any surprise june was sorted into slytherin ?? it’s been kinda tough because muggleborns usually aren’t sorted into slytherin and there were plenty of her housemates who hated her because of her blood status, but june is a tough girl and was like fuck that !!

she joined the slytherin quidditch team in only her second year -- she was a natural talent and had such an immense passion for the sport. clawed slytherin to several wins and anyways now she’s the captain and seeker !! i’d imagine she’s the sort of captain that oliver wood was -- if you’re on the slytherin quidditch team prepare for lots of early morning rehearsals, and she isn’t gonna go easy on you. she’s not above using dirty moves either, if they get her what they want

quidditch is about the only thing she’s serious about though -- with everything else, she’s an absolute hedonist and just wants to have fun !! she’ll be at every party, dancing on the table with a bottle of firewhiskey, sneaking off to hook up with whoever’s hottest, whether or not they’re single. lowkey may have ruined a few relationships

she’s selfish but she’s not mean -- she’s actually quite charming and can be super fun to be around, but don’t be fooled, she’ll leave you in the dust if it suits her !! it’s nothing personal -- she’s had to be selfish to survive as a muggleborn in slytherin and in her home life 

she and her brother are highkey the scourge of slytherin like ?? totally ride or die, side by side going around raising hell, would fight anyone who said something bad abt the other

she’s kind of cynical, thinks everyone’s out for their own good since she is

hey all !! so im gee, im from australia ( AEST ) so i’ll have weird times when im on for you guys ( and this was a very late post oops ) but i’d love love love to plot with each and every single one of you !! like this post and i’ll dm you somehow :)

⌁ alycia debnam carey ⌁ i always see laurel lockwood hanging out in the slytherin common room. people say the cisfemale pureblood  is ambitious & controlling. rumour has it that amortentia smells like violets after a rainstorm to her. i always seem to wind up humming fall in line by christina aguilera & demi lovato after i see them. they remind me of fur coats, leather bound journals and diamond tiaras.

okay so this’ll be brief because i’m still fleshing out her character 

okay, so laurel in my head is kind of based on a young tom riddle - so very intelligent, manipulative, overachieving and above all else, ambitious/ruthess. she’s a bit dark, very poised (a bit of a stick lodged somewhere honestly) and perhaps slightly sociopathic in that she has a little less empathy than others but she’s highly functioning so she can read other people’s faces/reactions and react accordingly

she has mommy/daddy issues because the lockwood’s are a very wealthy/powerful family and they have not paid attention to her AT ALL cause they wanted a son/heir and she tries to get them to be proud of her but ofc not

she’s getting into the dark arts (thanks zelda) cause she views it as any other magic - magic that will most definitely help her get to where she wants in life

she and her family are not too prejudiced but she’ll play along with it cause she’s good at fitting in, esp. in her house that she’s head of, though she definitely thinks wizards are better than muggles but in her mind its: laurel > smart wizards > rest of wizards > squibs > house elves > muggles (so a bit of a superiority complex for sure)

she likes the high life, so her aesthetic is totally high class luxury mixed with smart independent “who-run-the-world” businesswoman with six inch louboutins and sharp nails

her goal’s to pretty much run the world lol

⌁ josefine frida pettersen ⌁ i always see PENELOPE WINSLOW hanging out in the RAVENCLAW common room. people say the FEMALE PUREBLOOD is PRACTICAL & PERFECTIONISTIC. rumor has it that amortentia smells like OCEAN AIR to her. i always seem to wind up humming LIABILITY by LORDE after i see them. they remind me of COLOUR CODED NOTES, BURNT SUGAR COOKIES, TIRED EYES AFTER ANOTHER SLEEPLESS NIGHT.

already posted a lil bit about her in the chat but i thought i’d do an intro neway bc im Professional and also love my daughter

so penelope ( her friends call her penny -- so basically everyone calls her penelope cause she has like no friends sjdfdsk ) is part of a pretty prominent pureblood family. they’re super influential and famous in the us cause they were one of the first settlers and so there they’re basically like the black family of the usa, but here they’re a bit more chill. penelope still has a bunch of family in high places tho. not super obviously into blood purity but like .. they still hold more respect for purebloods and muggleborns, and it’s still kind of expected their kids marry purebloods. as a result penny’s super sheltered and really does not know much about muggles

anyways so that means there’s a ton of expectations on her, especially since her older sister eugenia thought it was all bullshit and was like fuck this! and was super rebellious and wild and got drunk and did drugs and is off being a muggle tattoo artist right now and is living her best life. so that means there’s lots of pressure on penelope to be the Good Kid, and she tries her best to fill that she really does

her parents are the sort who do love their kids but like they don’t usually express it. penelope can count the number of times her parents have said they love her or they’re proud of her on one hand. it’s not rly their fault, that’s just what they were used to when they were growing up. and now penelope doesn’t know how to express affection. we luv a vicious cycle!!

her to do list for being a Good Kid is basically: get good grades, stay out of trouble, be perfect. the first two are easy enough, last one not so. so her to do list is never done and penelope is stressed like 24/7 cause she never thinks she’s good enough or doing enough

really she should’ve been in hufflepuff -- the sorting hat wanted to put her in hufflepuff, but penelope knew her parents would disapprove -- her whole family had been gryffindor (her sister, her father) and ravenclaw (her mother) for ages. even slytherin would’ve been preferable to hufflepuff. so she begged the hat not to put her in hufflepuff and lo and behold she got ravenclaw!

i don’t think her parents really realize how stressed they’re making her. like, they aren’t bad people and don’t want their kid to be unhappy

uhhh anyway so she likes sticking to the rules, having a plan, knowing where things go, knowing what’s happening and all that. it’s safer and being in control of things makes her feel like she’s actually doing something. she always always always thinks before acting -- she hates taking risks and she hates change. she’s a bit of a stick in the mud honestly

she is very kind and just really wants everyone to be happy and safe tbh but most people don’t realize that because she can be a bit short tempered when she’s stressed which is always. she also is an Awkward Introvert and has trouble making conversation because she overthinks & overanalyzes everything she’s about to say before she says it which makes her sound kind of stilted

loyal to a fucking Fault though like, if you’re one of the few people who actually manages to be friends with her and can put up with her then she’ll stick by you through hell or high water

gets really good grades but beats herself up over them still. you know that kid who’s like “oh i did so badly on this test :/ i got an 89 :/” thats her

gets jealous easily, not really like relationship wise (only cause she’s not in a relationship -- if she was she’d also totally get jealous easily. not mad jealous, more like insecure jealous. u know those posts where it’s like “me on my wedding night: but do you like me like me?” that’d be her. but she hasn’t ever been in a relationship sO not really like that now haha)

but anyway, gets jealous easily. this quote is the best way i could describe it -- because she never thinks she’s good enough she gets jealous of people who are doing better than her or who seem happier than her or who find it easier to talk to people than her

definitely a Lawful Good (as opposed to june who is chaotic neutral)
