Andrew pushes him, and Neil falls back easily. The concrete is cold against his bare skin, dust covered and lifeless, but Andrew’s lips are anything but as they meet his own.
His eyes grow wider in surprise, the sheer feeling revealed by Andrew’s lips is overwhelming. He's kissing him like he can clutch Neil’s heart in his hands. He pushes into him like it's a fight, maybe against Neil, maybe against his own desires.
He likes me. He wants to kiss me, Neil thinks, He wants me.
It slips through him like a blade, a clean cut. Here lies the Neil from before Andrew's lips touched his, and here lies the after.
In all his surprise, he forgets to kiss back, and Andrew pulls away abruptly. His lips are redder than before, Neil thinks deliriously.
Andrew starts to get up, and Neil panics, only barely cognizant enough to grab for his sleeve rather than his hand.
“Where are you going?”
A flash of unfamiliar emotion across his face. “I know what it looks like when someone doesn't want to be kissed,” Andrew says through gritted teeth.
“That's not-” Neil starts, “I wanted-” He breathes out slowly, recalling each and every time Andrew's mere presence sent a rush of warmth through his body “I didn't realize you liked me,” he finishes lamely.
“I don't like you,” Andrew says immediately, scornfully, barbed wire in his words, “I hate you.”
Neil ignores him, “I want to kiss you again.” It's a truth sharp enough to make his gums bleed. “Come back?” Neil sits up, tugging on his sleeve.
He watches a war play out on Andrew's face, before he finally rejoins him on the ground.
“I need a yes,” Andrew states.
“Yes,” Neil answers swiftly, not caring how eager he looks.
This time he leans in, stopping right before their lips meet. It's almost more vulnerable, he muses, to share a person’s air.
“Andrew,” he whispers, just to say it, just to feel the syllables roll off his tongue, and then he closes the gap between them.
it’s my birthday today! have some leviticus!sebalex angst to celebrate 🎉
♫ misses (dominic fike)
Ryan and Naim never meet at the bus stop. Instead- Naim runs. He makes it to the city, sleeps on benches, and in public parks and finally-finally- someone else witnesses the entity as it tries to put an end to him. He makes a friend- an ally and settles into a life that while empty, is survivable. And thats what he does. For six months. He survives.
By the time Ryan comes looking for him he can’t imagine that it could actually be Ryan. He remembers Ryan’s last words to him- his promise-
If you see anything that looks like me, don’t go near it.
So he runs again. Out the back door, into the night, and it’s already there waiting for him.

(a not-so-vague Leviticus AU)
***
Neil's breath washes over the side of Andrew's face, fragrant with fermented berries.
"Wine-drunk is not a good look on you," Andrew says.
The reprimand is self-directed. Disappointment with himself for not pulling away.
"Everything is a good look on me," Neil counters with a smile.
Andrew can feel the cheeky motion, rather than see the shape of it, flower across Neil's mouth.
For a moment, Andrew allows himself to live the lie, inhale Neil's second-hand breath. It's all he can do to keep himself from kissing him. The boy who doesn't swing. The boy who doesn't kiss other boys.
***
The boy kisses him first. Andrew can't even reciprocate, inert from surprise, caught in the thrall of Neil's lips, the nest of his teeth. But it isn't until Neil just keeps going that Andrew realizes something is wrong. Until it isn't a kiss anymore, but a bloodletting.
He holds Neil by the throat, wraps his fist around his thrashing pulse.
Neil snarls, and Andrew knows it isn't just one thing that is wrong, but a whole miscellany of them.
No one has looked at him with that kind of hunger before. No one who mattered.
"Who are you?" Andrew asks.
ryanaim stalker au based on this song.
klance leviticus au (kinda) where the paladins are on separate missions with a partner and Lance and Keith get assigned a planet where the designated Bad Guys terrorizing the civilians are weird shape shifting aliens that take on the form of their attackers object of desire.
Bonus points if its pre-dating or pre-acknowledging-feelings
