#188 Prompt

Levi's sickness always made his life difficult. He always knew that it would grow worse and worse as it progressed until it ultimately claimed him the way it had his mother.

He had long since accepted that he wouldn't live past forty.

But when he met Eren, Eren shone so brightly, breaking down all of Levi's walls, until he couldn't help but accept his love.

But even when they got married and built a life together, he still knew their time together would be limited, and that knowledge broke his heart.

He didn't want Eren, his husband, to be left behind after he was gone; he wanted to leave a reminder that he had once existed in this world, something his husband could find solace in once he was gone.

With Hanji's help, he created a virtual reality world, filled with his and Eren's memories together. He made an AI of himself, carrying all his memories so that Eren would have something to remember him by in the event of his passing.

Here is a little excerpt of what's brewing for Rivaereri Autumn Week:

Unlike Eren who still lived in the headquarters, not having the means to buy a house, not long after the battle the reclamation of Shiganshina, Levi had purchased a house in the once-abandoned town. After all, if members of the Survey Corps didn’t feel comfortable living there, how could they convince the people that it was safe to?

Eren had never seen Levi’s home, but that was quickly about to change as Levi entered the key into the lock and unlocked the front door, motioning for Eren to go in, his lips pulled down into a grim line.

Eren swallowed heavily but followed the silent command.
