evan’s  frown  deepens  as  he  returns  his  brother’s  hug,  hot  ANGER  churning  in  his  gut.  it’s  not  fair  that  scott  can’t  just  be  himself  without  having  to  deal  with  the  cruel    &    judging  people  at  their  high  school.  somebody  always  seems  to  have  SOMETHING  to  say,  especially  lately.  evan  has  never  felt  more  protective  of  the  older  twin  than  he  does  right  now.    ❝    me  too.  i’m  really  sorry  they  aren’t,    ❞    he  sympathizes,  already  planning  on  tracking  down  the  person  who’d  made  scott  upset  as  soon  as  possible  and  giving  them  a  piece  of  his  mind.  at  the  moment,  though,  providing  support  needs  to  take  priority.    ❝    how  about  we  stay  home  tomorrow    ??    we  can  watch  movies  and  eat  too  much  junk  food,  if  that  sounds  good.    ❞    the  break  is  clearly  needed.

Deshi couldn’t say he didn’t like the young Alpha. Scott had traits that others would envy. It was just there was a time he was dating the kitsune’s younger sister. Even if it had been years since they had been together, it didn’t make Deshi feel any less wary. But also he felt protective over the young wolf. He hadn’t realized the struggle that Scott had gone through until he had overheard a bunch of teenage boys making fun of said Alpha. There were cruel words. Words like “freak”, “broken”, “corrupted”. All of it made Deshi’s hackles rise. There may or may not have been a heavily veiled threatened when he spoke to the kids. After that, he was around Scott a lot more. It’s not like Deshi would ever judge someone for choices they made. Shit, there were still people who thought he was a freak for being bi-sexual. If Scott wasn’t comfortable with who he was, then that was fine. He would treat him no different than any other person. 

Which was why he was at the bar that Scott tended to a few nights a week. Deshi felt the need to check in on him when he could. It was only a couple hours over from Beacon so it wasn’t too much trouble to check in on the young Alpha. Plus, he had a job around there the next day so he figured he could spend some time with the kid to see how school was going. The kitsune found a spot at the bar, settling in between two groups of college kids. One was a group of sorority girls who kept giggling and looking over at him with drunken smiles. The other was just a group of friends were talking about how they could bang one of the sorority chicks. Deshi was in for a fun night. When he finally caught sight of Scott, Deshi flashed his signature smirk and waved a hand his way, waiting for the Alpha to get the chance to come over.

Deshi had a pretty good mental filter when he was sober. The problem was, when he was drinking that went to shit though nothing was as bad as when he was drunk on Sake. He had decided to visit Scott at his bartending job one weekend and stayed until closing since the wolf mentioned he needed a ride home. That meant the Kitsune was quite a few drinks in when the Alpha was going around cleaning things up. It was when the younger male bent over that Deshi grinned slyly as he leaned his head into his palm as he nursed his beer.

“You’ve got a really nice ass, Scotty. Sometimes I just want to bite it.”

Deshi constantly sometimes wondered how in the hell Scott’s mind worked. The Kitsune had come to visit the wolf at his bartending job and they ended up just talking about random things. That’s how Scott started talking about some stories that happened with him and Stiles. Staring at the Alpha with both confusion and awe, he took a sip of his whiskey before he answered. “Are you sure you and Stiles never got high? Because that sounds exactly what someone would say when they were high out of their mind.”

Deshi had slowly become more and more protective over Scott as time went on. They were hanging out in a park just to get away from everything as he noticed the wolf’s saddened demeanor. Sighing softly, the Kitsune stood up and gripped the sides of the Alpha’s face and pressed a soft kiss to his lips until he was the center of the other’s attention. “With me again? Alright. Let’s get out of here and find something to eat so I don’t have to deal with your sad puppy face, Scotty.”
