artists recreate memories of things they've never done before
the power of your thoughts,
the impermanence of your memories
find it again,
find what you thought you lost
a quiet reminder from a cyber space observer.
the line goes round and round, it does not end
crouching on the shelf
looking at my creation
we were young, with curious eyes, fascinated within the small pockets of time.
- a childlike mindset i thought to be ephemeral, yet returning after years of absence.
it's okay to forgive yourself over a wild past.
and it's okay if that takes a little longer than you'd like.
in pain i once wrote, "words left unspoken rot within."
reality-twisting trauma leaves the blinded soul yearning a closure that already exists.
sometimes i am confused, sometimes i am ashamed.
one of the first sins ever committed was shame.
the myth goes that adam and eve stood naked in paradise, ashamed of their state. the serpent had snapped eve's sense of reality and the first earthen couple fell from the unity of the most high into a dualistic state of perpetual work towards the very unity they fell from. all things must return to their roots.
the once plural name of the most high all became singular after the fall of man as man lost the image of the god of everything.
sometimes i wonder what my serpent is and how to undo the fall.
we fall short everyday, after all.
i am still here. i am still here.
