Ouch.
Too many things happened at once and most importantly his head still hurt. He wanted answers to so many questions but there was no one to ask...
Or so he thought.
Patting himself down from any stray snow (despite it’s swift return), he trudged through with a determined stare. It was cold, freezing cold, but he kept moving wherever his feet guided him. Answers answers answers...
Wait, that’s right! The ID card. He forgot to look at that, too distracted by that strange....cube’s speech about death. It sounded like hogwash, anyways. He fished the ID out of his pocket and took a long look, double checking, triple checking, even quadruple checking. There wasn’t any extra information...everything seemed normal enough.
As he was quadruple checking, he continued to move, incredibly focused on the card now instead of where and how far he was going. He got lost in thought, tapping away at it, perhaps thinking there could be extra functionality to besides the rules and his own profile.
So much, that he only stopped once he realized the surface under him felt different. less clumpy and a lot smoother. He looked down and saw...
Water?!
Lewis practically leapt a few feet in the air and attempted to bolt off the frozen lake to no avail--he lost his footing and landed right on his bottom.
“O-oh, bother...”
It was a long shot, but...
“If anyone’s even here...HELP ME!! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” He yells in English, waving his arms.
