“i suppose i can do that.” lex giggles, feigning reluctance, a careful glint in her eye. “just promise to come back in one piece. ‘kay?”

enjin puts on a show of faux contemplation. “mm… no can do, sorry.”

“what—?” she asks. “why not?”

“ya see…” he starts, inching his way closer. “i’m leavin’ a little piece of me right here—“ he leans into her space, smiling proudly. “with you.”

lex sighs, reaching for his face to gently shove him away. “… i swear you’re the corniest guy ever.”

“yeah yeah,” enjin playfully dismisses before his eyes quickly move to her lips. “now gimme a kiss for good luck, hm?”
