this personal writing event is in celebration of our favorite football defender's birthday (june 30th)! for one week leading up to the Big Day, i will be posting an x reader fic ranging anywhere from fluff to angst to smut. that’s right — seven days. seven fics. which is INSANE of me, but this is my own special way of showing my appreciation to my number one blue lock player! ⊹ ࣪ ˖

⟡ NSFW — you've been ghosted by your date, and your honest to god attempts at finding real love seem to come crashing down overnight. when you seek a way to get out of your damn head, oliver delivers more than you bargained for.

⟡ SFW/FLUFF — after gaining the knowledge of some of oliver's favorite things via an old candid interview, you take it upon yourself to give him exactly what he wants: an apartment full of chicks.

spring feels nothing less of familiar to them. the graze of the sun's reborned warmth combined with the freshness of blossoming flowers as their petals open up, alongside the shiver of trees and how their leaves filter sunlight are sensations that embody the clemency they enact upon each other... something gentle and welcoming.

"i've just noticed," he murmurs, breaking his stare from watching her adjust a beloved camera, the one whose stare he knows all too well of, "your earrings. they match the flowers."

she looks up hazily whilst attempting to hide her entracement of how well him he looks with his sun-dappled curls blowing from the wind. "do they, now?"

"quite so, unless my vision is playing tricks on me," he titters softly, taking out a single daylily from the bouquet he had fetched on the way to their picnic spot to sport up against her ear.

she hums, feeling the graze of his fingers on her ear. "did you do that on purpose?"

"maybe i did, maybe i didn't," he merely shrugs before placing the daylily back into its place in the bouquet before dusting himself off and standing up, offering his hand out for her to take. "well then. is the camera ready?"

said camera clicks its mechanics inside into place, as though to say a resounding "yes!" to him and her. he gently pulls her to her feet, still holding her hand as they whisk to somewhere not too far from their picnic area, only letting go of it at last to let her get ready to capture the memory of him right now in her eyes.

"and then i get to take a picture of you after this, yes?" he calls aloud, reminding her of their compromise.

the tips of ears redden at the reminder. "must you?"

"mmh, you promised me, remember?"

"... maybe i did," she giggles, fondly admiring him from the safety of her camera. "maybe i didn't."
