i won’t deny that some fans tend to hype him up for the wrong reasons because it’s true. they look at what’s on the surface and only what’s on the surface, and focus on that. which is a shame because then they’re missing out on a lot of things.

and yeah those are all true and yes apparently this kind of thing is still showing up in the tags. i thought it was over because things were quiet for a while. lmao.

      There are days you can’t get up. flynn scifo is used to these days, though he never admits to it. he knows the draining work he is forced to apply day-in, day-out. the night dragging on the edges of his eyes, unable to do anything but follow the suns whims as it rises in the early morn.

      it hurts sometimes.

      hurting is why he is here. sitting at the steps outside the castle, hands placed in his knees as he tries to think. it is raining, there is no knights running about, there is only those who are stationed in doors for now, and for once flynn is thankful for such a thing. 

      a commandant was supposed to be a symbol. someone who would never tire, never grow frustrated, someone who could lead with confidence and grace. his stomach twisted into knots as he bits hard on the inside of his cheek. what is he supposed to do? he’s leading them the best he can, but there isn’t anything else he can do.

      he knows if he continues he shall grow bitter. grow like the man before him. for Aʟᴇxᴇɪ Dɪɴᴏɪᴀ was just that. a man who people over estimated, seen too much for what he was not. he did not want to become that. he does not want to become that.

      a bit back sob is held between teeth. rain is soaking through his uniform, drenching him, his hair plastering to skin. pressure building. it would continue to build, and if he did not find a way to release it ...

      all the love and dedication to this job, to this duty,      would backfire like a loaded gun into his own heart.

a lot of that description is usually what a history section is for, but they don't have one for flynn's page on aselia. like bro. i would write it myself if it meant having a more detailed thing for flynn.

still fishy how they simplified his 'official' tales of wikia chara description whereas less important side material actually does the job...but I'm pretty sure you can edit those articles, right? go megan go \o/
