I come from a super long line of jews, dating back probably since before the Spanish expulsion of Jews in the 1400’s. Even though I’m practicing and come from a huge jewish family, i get accused by other jews of being a convert, half jew, or fake jew while by non jews I get underestimated about how religious me and my family are. Just because I don’t fit the stereotype of what a jew should look like, it doesn’t change my ethnicity or religion.

Do you use fiber castelle pitt artist pens for calligraphy?? If so, do they frat easily?

I have 2 faber castell  pitt pens, one yellow and one blue. I think it’s kind of hit or miss? My blue one is pretty firm and isn’t fraying, and my yellow one hasn’t frayed but it’s definitely harder to control (it’s more brush-like and it’s hard to keep the size of my letters consistent) and I’m not sure why. I’ve only had them for about a month though so I’ll just have to wait and see!
