Other than a not-so-surprise visit from Lexiyee and Tara, today at work SUCKED BECAUSE IT WAS HELLA BUSY but it's all good because I got to harrass those mofos.
So we went to Austin, and Ariel and I got to The Steeping Room before Lexiyee did, so we popped into Starbucks so I could see if they have an Austin mug to go with my San Antonio one! AND THEY DID. AND I BOUGHT IT. Three new Texas-themed mugs acquired on this trip muahahahhaaaa!
Then we got a table for the three of us at The Steeping Room. It was funny, the hostess was like, you look familiar! And I laughed, before admitting I came here practically every other day a couple of weeks ago. I had more chocolate crunch tea, and the vegan blt with salad again. omg so fucking good, I miss it already. I also had another vegan black currant scone after dinner, and another large chocolate crunch tea to go. I also bought a two unce package of this amazing smelling green tea called "Spring Awakening". I smelled the small sample of tea leaves for amusement, as i love the musical, and decided I needed this tea in my life when I'm back home.
We ended up just sitting, eating, drinking our tea and talking and laughing until we realized it was 6:20. The movie was at 6:30. Ariel and I debated going to see the movie for like half a minute, before we decided we'd go back to Lexiyee's place and hang out more instead. I can see Les MIs at home, but I can't hang out with my ladies at home. I have my priorities right.
The hostess came to collect our payment, and said goodbye, and I admitted I was from Canada, and it was going to be my last time in The Steeping Room and I was going to miss it dearly when I was back home. She wished me a good trip back home, and was glad that I was taking some tea with me back to Canada.
It was really, really fun. Ariel and Lexiyee got along so great, and it made me very happy. I'm so, sooooooso glad we were able to get together and do this. I'm really going to miss them when I'm back home.
