Sakuya being mentioned was one of the few positive things in the chapter. x__x

yes youre right!!! this chapter was wild i hope the characters end up okay! i do wonder what sakuya is even doing though?? because we havent heard from him in so long. which makes sense, considering how busy this arc is. hopefully we will see him soon though!!

I hope that means he’ll come back soon, I refuse to believe he won’t have a role in the plot anymore

oh definitely!! i dont think theres any way he would just not be important in the story anymore. even now while he’s not technically present in this arc, he is still a main motivation for mahiru to achieve his goals, as he often thinks back to sakuya and other characters. besides, mahiru promised to “save” sakuya from tsubaki so he still has that to take care of. maybe we’ll see more of him next arc!
