That lovely moment when you are craft free and your brain decides to go Brrrrr 🤣🤣🤣

So I decided, somehow, to cross stitch one drawing per book I read, until the whole hoodie is filled with drawings or I run out of books, whatever happens first 🤣.

So, so far, I have the following books cross stitched.

- Old Magic (or in Spanish El Cículo de fuego) - M. Curley

- The Alchemyst: the secrets of the immortal Nicolas Flamel- Michael Scott

- The Magician - Michael Scott

- The Blade Itself - Joe Abercrombie

- Witches Abroad - Terry Pratchett

I made some rules for myself too for this.

- Can't make drawings of re-read books.

- I have to wait until I have finished the book.

- I'm starting with books of this year 2025.

I hadn't posted in a while, but here is my interpretation of Artemis Entreri as an amigurumi, big plushie edition.

He is probably the character I have seen whose mood matches his outer appearance best, like he gets disheveled when he is mentally in trumoil.

So I made the choice to make his hair shorter but add a beard that is something they often signal as a sing.

He looks so cute and round too I really like him

I was pleasantly surprised by this book.

I'm the odd type, I think, that has read this books out of order, mostly favoring titles where Artemis and Jarlaxle appear and boy was this one interesting in that regard.

I lightly knew the story thanks to the mercenary saga, but going in deep was curious indeed. I was heavily triggered by some of Drizzt's actions towards Wulfgar's state of mind (sorry to the Drizzt fans, but the boy didn't handle the situation well) and I really, really enjoyed the whole getting into Entreri's mind once he is back to Calimport, seen how he reacted and the fights, I just loved all of them.

The moment where he is rescued was so stupidly fun for me, really good book, highly recommended.

This one was soooooo hard to get by, I expended months trying to find a good deal where I could get my hands on the book, since in Spanish there is only a paperback version of it.

AND I FOUND IT💕💕💕

Have to say I had to ration it because this one holds 4 books, butnI had so much fun with this book.

SPOILERS AHEAD

So it might be because I read the comic of the first book already but Regis plot twist didn't catch me off guard.

I really lost all my respect for Wulfgar on this first book (sorry for the fans, but there is some dialogue that uffff...), although, have to say he is a really consistent character, there is a reason for his behavior and I get that.

However, it is a triggering behaviour.

Also, imagining Artemis Zooming around with hisnbat cape is just too funny, as funny as his relationship with Cattie in the next book. Again, they give the vibe of older brother - younger sister, and is just hilarious, you can even forget the tension sometimes in favor of the banter.

The following books were really entertaining, not a huge fan of romance in general, but learning more of Mezomberranzan, mostly through Jarlaxle's eyes is quite interesting and made me appreciate the character even more.

I already posted an image of this hug size plushie of Jarlaxle, but I wanted to take a proper pick of him, specially now that I have him starring in not one but two dnd campaings with my friends.

I'm happy to report that he hasn't found any potentially dangerous magical items or Crystal shards, skulls, nor any dragons... Yet 🤣

So I shared the big versions, I will soon make a post with better photos but I also made an smoler toys so I could carry them around for adventures as keychains (that's why they are a little frayed, they have been traveling with me since December).

Again, by following the aforementioned turorial they are really easy to make. I reinforced the union with the keychain and I sew their hand and feet together, since I found out early that they would get tangled around and that made easyer for them to slip off.

And here it is, my favorite book. It was the book that made me spiral into getting to know Jarlaxle and Artemis, and making said rouge my all time favorite character in all the books that came after... Closely followed by Jarlaxle, of course.

Is the type of book I will describe as a "Comfort Book", no matter the years, or how many times I had read it, whenever I'm down is still a book I love to revisit.

The whole, Ray-guy/Kimmuriel been the "bad guys" while Jarlaxle ua happily hopping around causin mayhem and Artemis is trying to be 5 steps ahead is still incredibly funny.

Seen the power struggle and then, afterwards, two people, one antisocial and the other too social just waltzing around different settings makes me wish there were more adventures of this two... Maybe an spinoff? Or just a book series as a prequel? Or stand alones?, I don't know, dreaming is free 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I don't want to spoil things, but once Artemis and Jarlaxle start talking to each other about towers you will just know, this two are gonna be friends, they are just not aware of it... Yet 😅🤣
