The guards no longer gave her a hard time about visiting. Lisette tried to keep her visits to the minimum (understanding that the more she was outside of the house meant more security was needed). Now, on one of her first visit of the week, she noticed the Frenchman in front of his door had yet to step out of her way. “excuse-toi,” she says with an emotionless smile.
“Someone is already visiting Ms. St Clair,”
“Thank you for telling me,” her smile now higher but cold daggers in her eyes, “Now, Dégage du chemin... s'il vous plaît,” words clear and sharp from her, the guards opens to door behind him to which Lisette rewards with an genuine smile, “Merci,”
Once inside, Lisette looks over the woman in the room and arches her brow. “Comment t'appelles-tu” Lisette asks for her name in French as a short way of determining who she might be dealing with. Lisette normal warmth is put on reserve as she is now wondering who it is that believes they should be visiting a man she sees as her own brother. Gracefully, Lisette made her way to his other side, she puts her purse in the second chair -Chanel doesn’t touch floors- and stood at the bed side. Reflectively, she takes his hand and gives it a squeeze before letting go and turning her attention back to the visitor. Her face looked familiar, but Lisette worked with a lot of people so her face could be from anywhere. Normally Laurent was the protective one, but being in the state he is in, Lisette felt right in stepping up for him.
