ooo gonna talk about my ocs wolfy and popsocket oooooo.

i’m a little obsessed with them lately. they’re these creatures from my world called “Dimensi,” which are people who got trapped in the space between dimensions. They can’t survive in there, unfortunately, so they become undead and survive from rifts that get put inside of them from the Interdimensional Goddess, and then she pushes them back out into a world (not always the correct one). Being in the space between dimensions makes you look weird (hence Popsocket’s appearance. Wolfy looks weirder than you can see, but he’s also super tall, standing at 7’5), it makes most people lose a lot, if not all their memories, and can mess with motor skills and speech. Two people who got trapped at the same time and have been there for the same amount of time can be affected vastly differently too, I don’t have any specific examples of that but Wolfy was trapped a lot longer than Popsocket, but obviously Pop looks considerably weirder!

These two are best friends!!! They were pushed out of the space between dimensions together and, not knowing anything about themselves, assumed they had some sort of connection in life! They also have a mind-link, meaning they can hear each other’s thoughts! So they stuck together because they MUST have known each other before, right? Well, they didn’t. In fact, Wolfy was from a completely different world! But that doesn’t matter, because here and now they love and care about each other.

Wolfy is generally cheerful but also like. SUUUUUPER selective of who he’ll talk to because most people he doesn’t see as good enough and he doesn’t know whether or not you’re a danger, so he’d rather act cold to someone new until they’ve proved themself to be good enough, in his mind. He’s generally kinda protective of Popsocket, and kinda anxious without them. He’s also in general anxious about new places, because what if this place is dangerous? So he’d much rather stay put in a spot that he knows is safe, and then also if there IS a danger, he’s already familiar with the area to be able to get away from it. This comes from the fact that his home world was set during the apocalypse! And he had a younger sister who he took it upon himself to keep safe! And even though he doesn’t remember any of that even remotely, he’s still weary. He also thinks he’s a wolf, and will howl and growl and bark. Hence the name and mask (He got that BECAUSE of how he acts, as a gift from Popsocket). He loves climbing and animals, and he loves play fighting and hunting. I think he would also enjoy finding cool rocks and crystals, but I think more often than not he wouldn’t keep them. He’d show them off, and then leave them at a beach or throw them back into the woods, or just somewhere that someone else can find and appreciate it. He also has a hairpin I forget to draw him with, which he got from his sister

Popsocket is pretty quiet, kinda timid. They’re more open to talking to people than Wolfy is, so they act as his voice if he has a question but doesn’t like/know someone yet. They also get nervous in new places and situations, BUT they really like traveling! They do it in hopes they’ll see something or someone that’ll spark a memory and maybe they’ll remember who they are. Their anxiety isn’t rooted in an apocalyptic past though, they’re just on the nervous-er side. Their desire for adventure comes from the fact that in life they COULDN’T travel, not only were they in a cult, but they were stuck on a floating country, because there wasn’t ways to easily get up or down yet, unless you were a shapeshifter. Unlike Wolfy, this is where Popsocket’s similarities to themself in life end! They were a much different, worse person! However, to be fair, they WERE being influenced by the cult they grew up in and briefly led. They love drawing, and collecting souvenirs in the forms of postcards and stamps, and they enjoy journaling about their day. They love skirts too, and their bow, and a hairpin i constantly forget to draw them with… They also hate mirrors with a passion because they fell into a magic one, which is how they got Dimensi’d!!! Not that they remember that.

When they’re together, alone, I think they’re more likely to talk outloud together! Because together they are safe and comfortable. I think they have a shared enjoyment of the rain so they’ll go out and sit or dance or run around in it. They also celebrate their birthday at the same time, because even though they don’t know when their birthdays are, they know that’s the first day they can remember! I don’t think things are always great between them, though, because of the fact Wolfy doesn’t like traveling and Popsocket does. They can split up and both be more anxious, or Wolfy can begrudgingly go with and they’re STILL both anxious because Wolfy Doesn’t Like Travel and the mind-link ALSO means they can feel each other’s emotions, so if one of them is angry or sad or nervous, so is the other, but less because it’s not their emotions. With effort, they CAN block each other out, but Wolfy DEFINITELY doesn’t want Popsocket to in the situation they’re split up, because he wants to be able to check in on them regularly, and while that can sometimes be overbearing to Popsocket, they don’t want to block him out because they’d feel bad about making him more anxious, or just briefly severing the tie at all for any reason because they’ve always been together, but they don’t want to be restricted to the same place all the time, or have to travel on Wolfy’s terms.

Anyway, RAUUUGHHHHH I LOVE MY OCS!!!! THESE GUYS MAKE ME CRAZY!!!!!! And there is so much more I could say because I’ve got so many ocs >:3

One more fun fact about them is they’re both ocs whose in-world birthdays are the same as their real birthdays! Popsocket was made January 16th, 2021 after I had the idea for their character in the middle of the night and HAD to write it down lest i forget, and Wolfy was made January 4th, 2024 because I had a design concept!

where are myos and lance post story?? :0

lance went to live with myos and patrick ellio, and he helps myos with their work occasionally, that work being rebuilding and restructuring the firefly and all. ares is still in charge of the firefly, but she’s listening to myos’ suggestions and such and also occasionally speaking with patrick, a man done wrong by the old system, in order to at least improve things. she’s not turning a blind eye to things anymore to say the least.

lance helps out whenever and however he can, though he doesn’t really have too too much input. he mostly helps with any physical jobs that need to be done. he also does some volunteer work on the side when possible, helps clean up the mess he and the world breaker made. patrick’s retired and as he gets older (he’s like in his 50s roughly during the events of the story) lance starts helping more around the house and such. love wins or something idk /j

myos retired from being a magician and focused their efforts into revamping the system and all. the whole ellio family goes to visit jas in centuro on occasion as well, but they’ve never really recalled anything from before the fire. myos still doesn’t really know what they want to do now since… y’know they were kinda living for other people and not for themself, but they’re happy to help ares and happy to have a stable home waiting for them when they’re done for the day.

then of course they both visit the graveyard from time to time, everyone does. myos and lance are both kind immortal cause the world breaker lives in their blood and all, but so long as they avoid any wounds that would cause mass amounts of blood loss or they don’t willingly let the world breaker take over (lance didn’t even know that was an option until jas explained that they have willingly let the weeping take over before) that’s not really a risk anymore. they’re kinda just spending as much time with the mortal people around them as possible, embracing every day one step at a time and all.
