landos drive was honestly done well, and I love how unbothered he’s become recently, genuinely feels like such a good change of energy because now he’s just takin it in and moving on w what he can
When Lando said he was only focusing on his race, he meant that with his whole chest, and I support him. Because paying attention to whatever everyone else is doing only hurts him long-term.
This track, on these tyres, hates cars. Lando's FP1 plan with Estie Bestie gave him the feedback gap he needed, which is why he spent the whole race with a 1.5 to 2second buffer behind George.
Everyone keeps talking about his bad S2. Do you know why it's like that? Because from where I'm sitting, it looks like that's from a failed overtake in S1. The only real overtaking spots here are the main straight and turns 1, 2, 3. If he doesn’t get the pass done there, he’s forced to drop back to that 1.5 to 2second gap or the dirty air will absolutely destroy his tyres or give him an understeer snap that sends him into the gravel. Which is basically a DNF at this track.
And this is just me, a chronically online Lando Fan, connecting the dots using his data and onboards.
A “bad” race for Lando is still a podium. Same story now as it was in the early season.
We’ve been spoiled by the poles and the wins and the near-wins, and I think people forgot he still isn’t fully comfortable in this PIA01. But he’s dragging it up there anyway, because he’s Lando Norris.
you know what i just realised? Lando got his first pole as a world champ at the track where he got his first win, almost two year since his first win
HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS?!?!?!?!
21/24 races done this season and he’s got 17 podiums. 1 sprint pole. 6 poles. 2 sprint wins. 7 race wins. 390 points. 6 fastest laps. and all THAT with 3 dnfs (1 sprint & 2 main races).
The first mcl driver to win….
• Australia since 2012
• Monaco since 2008
• Austria since 2001
• Silverstone since 2008
• Mexico since 1989
• Brazil since 2012
LFG LANDO!!!! YOU GOT THIS! WE KNOW YOU CAN FINISH THE JOB. WE ALL #BELIEV4 IN YOU. LFG!! LETS BRING IT HOME NOW
“I still believe that we can win. We should have won in Miami, we could have won a race this year on pure pace, we could have deserved it. So there’s plenty of hope, I think it’s just the DNF’s that we have had, the unreliability that is hurting is the most. Monaco was difficult because we struggled with pace there anyway, but I don’t think the title is impossible. I still believe for as long as possible that it is possible. I still believe as a team we can turn things around and make progress, but we are also up against a team and a driver [Kimi] that is doing an unbelievable job. It’s hard to have a lot of confidence when you are up against someone like that. But what gives us confidence is Miami and Canada we have had two decent weekends on pace, we had one podium, we could have had a second. So the hunger and belief is still there. We need to believe that it is possible.”
Make way everyone, the biggest B-2-B LN1 believer is back!
i see another challenge incoming for Lando, looking forward to it 👀
Not one, but two similar posts that suggest Lando will be a champion back-to-back
Well, well, well, would you look at that!! LFG LN1 for two seasons in a row baby, please 🤞
"I look forward to Budapest, a track I enjoy. I've had good momentum over the last few weeks. I'll continue that. I keep working hard. My work's paying off. Even sometimes when it's not as noticeable or you don't see it. But the work's paying off, so I'll just keep my head down."
Oh, Lando has plans for Hungary. This entire quote was just quiet menace. You know there’s a hitlist. I haven’t heard him talk like this since Canada and we all know what happened after. LET’S FUCKING GO.
