I wrote my first novel almost entirely on the Long Island Railroad, in a series of notebooks that my wife always looks at so fondly. I looked (and felt) very different then than I do now; my novel was my retreat, the only thing I had to truly call my own. Now? I get to just... be me. With my book baby out in the world!! And next week, it'll be six months since LUNAV came out (pun!!!). I can't believe it; I really can't. In honor of the world where dragon eggs grow on trees and gender isn't assigned at birth, let's do A Thing: post a review of LUNAV (it can be short, and it should be honest, of course!!) on Amazon and @goodreads (those metrics help boost book visibility, don'tcha know), tag me here or on twitter (same handle) to let me know you done it, and you shall be entered to win a sneak-peek into my newest novel (trans boy superhero with emotional telepathy, anyone?)!! (Wow, I'm feeling the parentheses tonight huh?) Let's celebrate this book half-birthday in style o.O #authorsofinstagram #debutnovel #lunav #scififantasy #lgbtqfic #kidlit #queerkidlit #authorlife #bookbirthday #amwriting https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn4xPU0nsZeaJwrKLwjhs5Vp_pLackxB21aq2o0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=41xnfaw1b79l
