“if it isn’t our passionate sunbae — how’s the writer’s block going?” jino tries, a quip for an earlier promise to go through adlibs with aeri. a set-up for a trial or error of getting into character. not that it was that hard for jino to get into character, duri was a class act in all the wrong ways and jino was happy to capitalize on his hijinks as much as possible. even if it turned more comedic than endearing, perhaps aeri would step in to reel him in.

shaking his head, he sighs — “nah, duri does not sound like someone who would be that forward or playful …. yet, he’s much too scared of getting caught for being an imposter, right?” he looks at his script again, glancing at the scene in episode four where jinhee does a surprise check-up on duri at his desk. “how’s stepping into the shoes of jinhee going for you, sunbae? feel’s just like old times?”

of course seona would take any opportunity to be on a variety show, it's where she thinks she stands out the most. she loves to be on camera, and while this type of show can get a little candid, she's still prepared to give the most public-friendly answers she can. being paired up with aeri, her senior and someone she respects, makes things easier. they have acting, something in common to talk about and relate to.

she looks at the cue card in her hands, reading over the question in her mind at first before saying it out loud.

"what usually sparks your creativity or helps you get in the right mindset?" she reads. "i'll go first," seona looks up, smiling at aeri across from her at the table. "the first thing that helps me get in the right mindset is making sure i understand the character i'm trying to portray correctly. whenever i get a script, i try to dive deeper into the character, figure out their quirks, their hobbies, things like that. that way, i feel like i'm portraying them more accurately on screen."

“Unnie!” Yerim exclaimed as she smiled warmly at the older woman who was not an early bird, what so ever but was trying her very best. Something Yerim couldn’t help but find endearing, and even if she liked her morning runs to be brisk and quick – sometimes there was something nice about just talking a nice walk around. Taking the time to take in everything and not be in a rush – “ it will be over before you know it. ”

Yerim hands the beautiful woman a bottle of water, followed by a small smile.

Today was a nice day, even if the other day she had been bickering with Cheol about something again, she couldn’t remember what – it seemed to have become their new habit over the years, but Yerim shook her head to ignore the thought of the boy.

“ I have been practicing my singing lately unnie, ” she nods excitedly, “ I’ve been practicing singing Davichi’s 8282 but it is difficult. ” Singing had never been her strong suit, she had to basically learn from scratch when she came to legacy two years ago, so she felt insecure about it.

friendship to come

cherry had been on the trainee path for a while, unsure what she actually wanted. cherry had auditioned with rap, her intend was becoming an idol, but the more she stayed in legacy, the less she felt like she wanted to become an idol. she tried out modeling, but it wasn’t really her thing. so for a while she was just a trainee in legacy, unsure why she was a trainee. should she stay, should she not? she was a student, she had a plan b in case she decided legacy wasn’t for her. then around came team unknown, and though it was her hardest time in legacy, it was also what finally made her realize she wanted to become an actress.

cherry had a few acting friends, but majority of the actors in legacy she didn’t know, she’d been a trainee for a long time, she knew far more trainees than she knew actors. she wanted to befriend her fellow actors though, she liked having friends, she would like someone she could speak to, who too is excited about acting like her, and who knows, maybe she’ll end up acting with these people.

aeri and cherry had chatted a bit before, and at last, cherry had invited her out to dinner. “i’m glad you wanted to hang out with me” she shows a smile, “order whatever you’d like, it’s on me”.

yoon bitna finds herself more nervous than she'd ever be for things like this, a hangout with someone unfamiliar and yet she's observed plenty of times while lingering around the studios of legacy. she'd proposed the idea of visiting a new café nearby on a whim one time, in spite of minimal interactions. ( but does it matter? when the answer to her invitation was a yes? no, not at all. )

too early. bitna's found herself arriving fifteen minutes earlier than the allocated time, causing her to dwell in solitude for the remaining minutes within the crowd around her. she's been shuffling in her seat, unsure of what position feels best to watch the clock on the wall tick by, picking at her nail until the pink polish begins to chips off bit by bit; even her ice has begun to melt into her iced americano before she's taken so much as a sip of it. there's no way she's doing that now, the taste would only make everything terrible.

a new swarm of people parades through the doors, the figure of aeri is one that bitna notices amongst them almost instantly, glowing in contrast to the rest. she waves an arm, in high—hopes to catch her attention from the table she's seated at, “over here, aeri!”

Being cast in a musical has always felt like a distant dream, an ethereal idea; even now, amid stunt rehearsals and fighting training, it still seems to elude Minkyu's grasp. The reality of landing a lead role has yet to fully settle in, especially when he finds himself working alongside someone he's long admired, adding another layer of surrealism to the experience.

As he observes his reflection in the mirror, a furrow forms on his brow, betraying his internal contemplation. "Do you have any tips for appearing more natural in fight scenes?" he asks @lgcaeri, his tone tinged with earnestness, a hint of self-doubt. Despite feeling somewhat embarrassed to ask, Minkyu recognises the importance of mastering facial expressions for the sake of his performance.

saying goodbye was always hard. but this farewell hopefully was just going to be a see you later. maybe it was his role in the drama that made him really appreciate being a part of the bullet inquiry cast so much that he just didn’t want it to end. being a part of bullet inquiry was definitely a memory that he would cherish forever, especially because of the new connection and relationship that he built while on set. 

walking around the party, byungho made sure to greet everything. whether they were staff, crew or cast member he made sure to greet everyone. although he was thrill to see everyone’s face there was one in particular that he was looking for, you could say that he grew very fond of her. 

“oh, wow!” he said as he approach aeri, just the girl that he was hoping to catch tonight. “you look great tonight!” great? don’t you mean beautiful or pretty, what an idiot - he thought to himself. “it’s really nice to run into you” he said with a smile before coming up with a nice joke to ease into a conversation. “are you sad we won’t be working together anymore?”
