i had a feeling i could count on eunhye to release something for her birthday! i was surprised that she chose to cover a song she’d mentioned before during her time hosting volume up, though – it was such a nice surprise.

but can we talk about her vocals for a second?? i know most people recognize her for her incredible rapping, but… wow. has her vocals improved this much?? i first started noticing it during fabula’s latest comeback, but this cover completely convinced me that eunhye has been putting in a lot of work on her singing behind the scenes. as expected of my bias, she’s always working hard to improve her skills. one of the things i admire most about eunhye is her determination and her constant desire to grow as an artist! anyways, happy birthday, eunhye!! we’ll always be here cheering you on!

the seoul arts center announced a couple weeks ago about an immersive theatre production, which is something i’ve never heard of until i attended ‘one night’! to my understanding, when you navigate through the venue, the cast and stage moves and interacts based on the audience. it’s really cool once you get to see it in person, trust me!

anyway, BAEK SEONA ( who plays NAM DAEUN ), KIM CHERRY ( who plays HAN JAHYE ), and YANG AERI ( who plays KWON YERIN ) were three of the actresses a part of this project and they were REALLY good omg. i loved the tension the three of them had as they were in search of something… whether it was searching for another person or information, it was so exciting seeing them be in their character and interact with some of the audience members!

rumor has it that if you go again, the ending is always different, which makes the whole immersive show even more fun! i didn’t get a chance to go the second time because i was busy, but maybe someone can tell me what changed?

besides that, i heard that the show was sold out for five weeks straight! that’s pretty impressive! i wished that they had more seats available during each showing, but i got that it had to be small because of the concept… huhuhu…

[ + / - ] i’ve heard that the immersive production was something that was introduced overseas so i didn’t think that korea would have one too. i’m glad that this was a success because i’d like to see them do it again! [ + / - ] ugh, are you kidding me? even in this project there are legacy celebrities too? isn’t anyone tired of seeing them? [ + / - ] op, i did see this show three times and you’re right, each ending is different from the other. during my first night, i thought the ending suited jahye and her goal to gain some wealth. then on the second night, i liked how through daeun, we got to see more about what type of information people were withholding and why they were there… and on the last night, i felt yerin’s struggle to fit in a party that she wasn’t directly a part of… all of the actresses conveyed their struggles well imo!

i watched the latest episode of chef and fridge featuring fabula’s oh eunhye, and i honestly think this was one of her best variety show appearances so far!

even though we didn’t get to see her cooking abilities, i felt like i learned so much about her – from how neatly she organizes her refrigerator to the many homemade side dishes prepared by her parents and sister. it was especially heartwarming to hear that she enjoys cooking for the people around her, which made it even more meaningful to watch her enjoy dishes prepared by professional chefs on the show.

the cooking battles during her segment were also incredibly fun and exciting to watch. i really hope they invite eunhye back for another episode!

[ + / - ] one of my favorite parts during this week and last week’s episode is when the hosts encouraged her to give commentary during the last five minutes of the challenge. her reactions to trying out the dishes were hilarious and cute! i get why variety shows really love having her as a guest during her trainee and lgc girls days! [ + / - ] i don’t know if anyone caught this, but i thought it was really sweet that eunhye keeps a small section of her fridge stocked with meals she can give to anyone who’s hungry. the show didn’t really make a big deal out of it, but i thought it said a lot about the kind of person she is. [ + / - ] tbh, this was such a boring episode to watch lol i skipped a lot of parts just to find out the final dishes and i think this is one of the weaker episodes of the season

i just finished watching season 2 of martine corporation, and i have to say i noticed aeri’s improvement compared to the first season. even though there was a pretty long gap between the two seasons, i think she looked much more comfortable with comedy this time around. since her character has become more of a mentor figure to some of the other characters, it gave her more opportunities to show different sides of her acting instead of reacting to everyone else. i felt like she had better timing and delivered her scenes more naturally.

if martine corporation ends up getting another season, i’m really curious about what they’ll do with her character next. i feel like there’s still a lot they could explore, especially her journey as a novelist since we didn’t get to learn that much about her background or personal story. it would be nice if they expanded on that instead of keeping her mostly in a supporting role. either way, i’m happy to see how much aeri has improved between seasons 1 and 2! it’s always nice seeing an actress become more confident and comfortable with each new project.

[ + / - ] i hope they make another season just so we can see more of her character. they barely touched on her backstory, so it feels like there’s still a lot left to explore. [ + / - ] i think the writing helped her more than anything. her role was much easier to pull off this season…

has anyone else seen aeri’s latest instagram photos? it looks like she has short hair now, and i seriously cannot get over how good it looks on her. from what i’ve heard, this is actually the first time she’s ever gone this short, so i was wondering if maybe it’s for a new drama or another upcoming project. but honestly, whatever the reason is, i really hope she keeps this hairstyle for a while because it suits her so much. she somehow looks even prettier, and the short hair makes her features stand out more. i wasn’t expecting to love it this much, but now i can’t imagine her without it! she looks so fresh, elegant, and gorgeous! i genuinely hope that this isn’t just a temporary look because i’m already obsessed with it.

anyone else here a fabula and an lgc models fan? well i was listening to fabula's most recent album and looking through the physical booklet and noticed something strange. well, maybe strange isn't the right word. unexpected, maybe? anyways, i noticed that han hyunhee was on the credits for one of fabula's songs! 'badass,' i think it was. i like both her and fabula but i was just shocked to see her on the credits amongst the other well-known idols and music producers/lyricists. i wonder how much of the song she really wrote herself and how much of it is just getting her name out there.

[ + / - ] i think she should just stick to modeling [ + / - ] is it really that shocking? hyunhee trained to debut as an idol for years before debuting as a model. also, if you know anything about hyunhee you should know that fabula is her favorite group of all time. i'm glad that she's able to still participate in idol-adjacent activities and you should be too. [ + / - ] people always think models are talentless pretty faces that can't do anything other than pose for a camera. if you're a so-called fan, shouldn't you be happy for her? this post is weird . . .

we all know the camera isn't anyone's friend. how does the saying go? the camera adds ten pounds? i've always thought that actress baek seona was attractive but recently i saw her in real life and i couldn't believe my eyes. she's seriously freaking pretty and her face is so small, her proportions are great proportions too. the camera just doesn't pick up on these subtle things.

despite being one of the prettiest actresses in this generation, she's not coasting off her face card alone because her acting is really good too. i liked her character in the most recent season of martine corporation.

baek seona is the real deal, why aren't more people talking about her?

[ + / - ] she can even pull off different hair colors which is something i don't think a lot of actresses can do. she was blonde for all of martine corporation and looked amazing. didn't she also dye her hair reddish-brown at some point too? i'm convinced she can pull anything off. [ + / - ] all this glazing over someone who's only proven they can play one type of character. yeesh. [ + / - ] she's one of my favorite actresses these days! she really pulls you in with her acting, she's not awkward at all on camera and i love that!
