This is my response to the thread a few weeks ago about V&A Lee Yushin. Since he's one of my fave idols that I stan, I wanted to share that.. He is absolutely such a BIG personality and he always says the funniest things, even if unintentionally. I can't believe someone would think that he is shy and quiet TT he is absolutely the OPPOSITE, am I right? Also sorry in advance if you ever see this post Lee Yushin, I wasn't sure if this was an appropriate screengrab to post.... TT But I think it really shows that he is an idol who is not afraid of showing all sides of himself, even the silly ones at the sacrifice of his own image that he could otherwise have. To that fan specifically, and also any new fans who want to watch more things with him, check out LGC Masterchef or Dream Team from back in the day!!! Then work through some of the group vlogs and you'll be sure to see a lot of *personality*. ^^

[ + / - ] You can see his cute endearing personality through the way he interacts with all of us too, at fanmeets, concerts, even through universe or Instagram. But I will be the first to admit he can get quite goofy! [ + / - ] it's nice to see a fellow die-hard fan of yushin here!! we should share contact info haha.. [ + / - ] aren't idols given like..a personality at the offset of their career by the company? maybe this is the part lgc wants him to play in the group?

this doesn't have anything related to the song girls capitalism, but i wanted to just spotlight how ridiculous it is that i want to buy everything that jisoo touches and sells. what is this parasocial behaviour where every singular item i get makes me feel closer to him in a way? HAHA you don't have to tell me i'm delusional... i know i am.

it started off small like his coffee collab, his own brand accessories, but with each further project that he comes out with.. I WANT MORE. my wallet is hurting and now i am looking for another part time job ha. ( anyone hiring? ) but i've already got my eye on the lego sets and i don't even play with legos. i'm not seeking help but i am hoping that the next brands xander collaborates with are even more to my liking... maybe a lip balm, clothing, candles or skincare. :D

i’ll preface this by saying i’m a big fan of nova. honestly, i probably wouldn’t have even known about this song if it weren’t for mitzi. i really liked the song in general, but there was something else i wanted to address . . . i know that visuals and dancers get a bad rap when it comes to their vocals, but isn’t it time we stop hating on hers? i saw some comments saying that she didn’t deserve the feature and it should have gone to someone more talented, but she’s never been bad? even on future dreams i think she was able to hold her own. there are plenty of idols out there that can’t sing, and you guys are hating on us for what? because she’s pretty and you’re jealous she can do both? anyways, all of this to say that i think mitzi was the PERFECT choice for this song.

[ + / - ] i agree that mitzi gets a lot of unnecessary hate. she’s pretty and can dance and sing well, isn’t that what being an idol is? what else do people want from her? [ + / - ] there’s no denying that this song is catchy and fun. it stuck in my head for days after i first heard it. hope zico and mitzi can perform it live one day. [ + / - ] i’ll never understand why people bother worrying about idols. she’ll be fine, she makes more money than you.

i saw her pop up on SBS' inkigayo and got a big shock! apparently she's one of their MCs now? i knew of hyunhee back when she was just a trainee under legacy entertainment, but honestly she didn't stand out to me. i think she was supposed to be a rapper? but my theory is that she got dropped from the debut lineup of one of legacy's girl groups and pivoted to modeling. i don't know if that's working out for her, though?

i just don't see her succeeding as a celebrity and every time i see her, it's pitiful. why did her company send her to MC instead of doing things that would help her succeed?

[ + / - ] is this article supposed to be ragebait? clearly her company's strategy is working if it's getting you to talk about her ㅋㅋㅋ who cares if she's an MC right now? she's doing a great job and is really entertaining. [ + / - ] this is so funny because i can tell you didn't even take the time to google her name before writing it. if you did, you'd know she just walked two shows for new york fashion week and has contracts with LEGO, Nintendo, and even Samsung. [ + / - ] i think you care more than you're letting on. this is why i try not to pay attention to celebrity gossip.

did anyone else watch seonny side up? there haven't been any new videos released in a while . . . i miss trying out new recipes but my favorite part was sitting down and eating while watching her. it made me feel like i wasn't eating alone TT now that i'm typing this out, that might make me seem odd but really, how many of us eat in just silence? ㅋㅋㅋ

does anyone know what happened? i know youtube channels, especially celebrity ones, just come and go but she had been posting for so long! it'd been a few years, at least. i really hope it's not the end and she brings it back sooner rather than later.

now i'm not trying to pry into the lives of idols but with the current market, i am so used to idols always being on variety shows, always promoting and constantly being in the spotlight somehow. if not that, always vlogging, having their own youtube show, streaming or vlives. but i feel like i don't see lee yushin much at all unless its with his group, and even then, he's not all that talkative? (or do they just like..cut his parts OUT!?!?!?) i say this because when he does have something to say, it usually is quite funny. does anyone know if he's just the quieter member or what his whole deal is?

[ + / - ] i've been following yushin since the start of his time with v&a and he was more outspoken during debut! he's probably matured with age and the group's seniority though. [ + / - ] i think he's focusing much more on the behind-the-scenes of the group rather than trying to be a big whole personality. there's other members available for that, they each fill a niche within the group! [ + / - ] the industry loves to focus on newer groups and younger idols. older groups usually end up being old news...

i know some people don’t really check some of the artists’ messages on universe, but whenever i read sanghyun’s messages, i’m always surprised by the things he reveals. for the longest time, i thought of him as this stoic and serious guy who reads newspapers and checks the stock market all day.

but months ago, he talked about wanting to try paragliding, and i genuinely couldn’t picture him being interested in something like that. then before that, he mentioned wanting to become a pilot! i know some of these details probably show up in his personal channel too, but he seriously keeps revealing unexpected things about himself. i honestly wonder what random fact we’ll find out next….

[ + / - ] tbh, when he started his personal channel, i was expecting it to be some videos that i could listen in the background but there have been multiple times when sanghyun will tell a story about his past! i feel like he had a special but privileged childhood that he doesn’t seem the type to brag about it too much…but that might be a personal observation! [ + / - ] ngl, it’s weird that you are so interested in his interests. he’s just like any normal human being, so i don’t get why you find it so shocking about that?? [ + / - ] it’s why i stan sanghyun! he’s not a one trick pony nor is he boring either… he’s the type of person i’d like to have a conversation with during dinner because he probably has a lot of wisdom and advice to share!
