Ever since last Halloween’s incident and the April Fool’s “gag” earlier that year, Seojin decided he would have to keep a sharp mind again this year. Those two... he had to prepare for more from them as each season passed. He, too, possessed the brain of a prankster. His shenanigans during White Day were proof of it.

When Seojin entered the new building, he scrutinized every inch of it with his eyes. Freshly painted walls, freshly cleaned floors. Staff escorted them down the eerily pristine halls. ( Perhaps the feeling came from the rooms not being lived in yet. Sure, the feeling would fade. ) 

The room they were lead to next had an odd purple glow to it. He followed after obediently, but... something felt wrong, and his gut never betrayed him. Gradually, his hand drifted over to Ara’s bag to pull her at a safer distance to him. Knowing her she probably would have wandered off. Just as he parted his lips to speak, the door behind them locked shut. Click, click! “Oh, shit.”

     after confirming with the parents of the two boys they were babysitting today that they didn’t have any dog fur—or fur in general—allergies, he had happily turned to ara to confirm that they indeed could go through with the plan they had discussed with the staff and head to the dog cafe nearby with the kids. 

     “hi!” he greets the two boys, crouching down to be the same height as them considering he knows he’s very tall even for a regular grown male, and he doesn’t want to scare them too much. “i’m alec, and i’m really excited to spend today with you guys,” he says, a bright smile on his lips. he wouldn’t say that he loves kids or anything, but he’s so used to them because he had practically helped raise his sister when they were younger. 

     and, well, kids are cute. 

     the boys scramble to introduce themselves—the 5 year old being jinwoo and the 4 year old being jinha—and alec laughs, feeling delighted that they had such outgoing kids. he’s sure they’re going to have a great time at the dog cafe. “there’s a nuna here that wants to meet you guys too,” he says, indicating for ara to introduce herself too.

the season’s already half over, which is always surprising to jaesun that time could fly by so quickly. he’s already gotten to try a variety of delicious foods which he’s very happy about. there are still three more episodes to go, and he can’t help but wonder what others have in mind to bring in those.

it’s the fourth week in which he is to meet with ara. he greets her upon arriving on set and runs through a general idea of what will happen. “i don’t know if you’ve caught some things from the prior season or even this seasons, but it will be pretty standard formatting. if you have any questions at all, you can ask me now before we get going,” he tells her, hoping that she feels comfortable with all of this.

Charades had always been hard for Shinha, and so when it had been suggested by the fans as the game to play, he felt uneasy. It wasn’t that he was bad at the game itself, it was more the fact that he was bad at actually guessing. His mind often thought of hundreds of different things that the answer could be but it was never the right answer. Even though he had just embarrassed himself in front of thousands of viewers, he still had fun, and that was the main thing.

With the game finished and @lgcara​ declared the winner, Shinha turned to the camera to announce what’s next. He grinned brightly. ❛ That was an embarrassing round, ❜ he joked. ❛ Thank you for all your suggestions! Now it’s time to cook, ❜ he clapped his hands together in excitement. ❛ Since Ara-ssi is the winner of charades then she gets the better ingredients. Today we’re making sushi! ❜ He smiled. ❛ We have to make the most delicious sushi for our staff within an hour. Are you ready, Ara-ssi? ❜ He turned to his guest and smiled brightly.

“I am going to be honest here - dating is not my area of expertise.” That was literally the first sentence he said to Kim Ara (@lgcara) his partner for Date Lottery. Also there to hear him was the camera, which must be busy capturing every detail of his deadpan expression. 

Daehyung did consider going in with soft eyes and a smile. He was well capable of acting nice, and should have no issue keeping the mask on for a few hours. However, was that really necessary? Perhaps he should just be upfront and see where the date might go, as long as he was visibly giving it a shot, he doubted things would end in disaster.

“Not very experienced. Don’t know what I am doing. This is my best shot at making a brilliant first meeting introduction.” He extended a bottle of green tea towards Ara - a peace offering and potentially, also a bribe. “Sup, I am Choi Daehyung. This is for you.” Since he had no idea who he’d be going out with today, there was no opportunity to research. Daehyung defaulted to his own favourite type of tea because if she hated it or was allergic for some reasons, he could drink it himself and not waste his money.

At this point, you may be wondering why the heck did Daehyung sign up for Date Lottery in the first place. Well, someone offered him free plane tickets to Japan in exchange for being on this show. He has to put his best effort, though, that was part of the deal. The person specifically said Daehyung must make his dating partner happy, or else the bargain would be called off.

“My goal for the date today is to make you smile.” He sat down, folded his hands and gazed upon Ara with intensity. “How do I go about doing that?” Without taking any clothes off - that was his usual route, but doing it on camera would surely get him kicked out of Legacy.
