part: performance / backstage moment.
He moves around the stage with pinpoint accuracy. His movement is graceful as it is sharp. His rap comes out naturally, as though he is born saying those words and nothing else. He could do this in his sleep. They all can. That's the result of the endless amount of practice and underlying pressure from everyone to outperform each other.
Thre more counts to the last segment. Two more 'mines' before the final verse ended. One more step to the end of their performance.
Then just like that weeks of endless practice and the performance of their career has finished. He savours this last few moments, his memory storing it in like a clip of his favourite scenes in a movie, except he was a part of that epic shot. In that second, he fancy's himself as a debuted entertainer. Though it was his goal to achieve, this is the first time it truly sunk to him how close that may be to reality. Almost at the grasp of his fingertips.
There was a different buzz. A high that could only be replicated on a similar stage. It was the start of a growing addiction. Suddenly he has an inkling of an idea on how the rest of his mates might currently be feeling. It all makes sense now.
The screaming fans were almost deafening but it was the sight of his fellow teammate all sharing knowing looks is what makes his heart soar. As they bound back towards the backstage, Viggo throws his arms around Hanuel and Hansol, them being the closest one to his reach, gaze proudly set at Dohyun’s retreating back, flashing him a private smile when he turned back. Viggo only letting his mates go when they were away from the crowd as was huddled up behind the stages,
"Well done my man. We did, it's all over." Patting each of their bums as, a reoccurring inside joke between in their team. One where King proclaimed that Viggo was only allowed to do this action after they’re done with their performance. Carrying on the joke, he adds a little squeeze at his leader's love tap, beaming brightly and showing his gratitude that way.
“I could name a few qualities,” tilting his head to the side as he tries to list them off mentally. “I think a person must be true and honest to themselves because more often than not they could be real critics- especially to themselves and one could only hope they are with you too.” It’s a hard treat to pinpoint out, mostly because everyone pretends in front of the camera, even himself. Which is why he starts off with it.
“Also definitely someone who isn’t envious. I think such people could have a lot of hidden motives when you’re with them.” He shrugs, his answers were rather serious in comparison to the usual safe ones. Oh well, it is what it is.
