< nathan and @lgcjiae fight to variety-show-death on ‘dream team legacy’ >
it’s been a while since he’s had this much fun filming. with the stress of ‘future dreams’ and the unfamiliarity of ‘kim family’, nathan’s been doubting whether or not he had the guts to stand in front of the camera; but variety shows are different, for expectations for theatrics are low and rather appreciation for genuineness and comedy flourish.
he’s good at that, being the ‘funny guy’ in the room, and with all this weird pent-up frustration with his career, it feels good to have the chance to crack jokes, run around, and laugh. loudly. (even if it’s in front of a camera.)
he’s not really paying attention to whether or not they’re winning; his energy’s spent chasing after members of the other team rather than hunting down colored flags, and his strategy’s working out pretty well, too, until he turns a corner and finds himself confronted with three members of the blue team.
spinning on the base of his heel, he bolts in the other direction, squeaks of sneakers indicating that the enemy’s close behind him. he’s sprinting, as fast as he can, and nearly bulldozes down the person at the end of the hallway before realizing they’re wearing the same colored shirt.
“run!” he screams, instinctively reaching out for his teammate’s arm to drag them in tow behind him.
strides beckon faster and distance grows longer, and it’s only when they’re left with the echoes of their own footsteps that nathan slows to a halt to catch his breath—and properly look at the face of the person beside him. “oh! hey! what’s up?”
