Ethical Skincare Masterpost
So because it’s one of my passions, I thought I’d share with you guys some of my favourite places to buy natural skincare online. I shop with these sites because they are cruelty free, vegan, partner with charities, and/or are environmentally friendly. And have good products, of course. I tend to shop at cheaper places, but some of these might have higher prices depending on how small the brand is, etc.

HealthPost
Natural skincare, beauty, and health. They stock heaps of brands. As well as this, they donate $1 for every purchase to one of their charity partners, with heaps of charities to choose from. They are also dedicated to the environment, so they offset the carbon on all their operations, and hold regular tree planting days.
Paula’s Choice
My holy grail. Paula’s 2% BHA Exfoliant changed my life. The prices can be a bit steep, but it’s mostly worth it. Also has a lot of skincare help with putting together a routine, etc. Has a 10% student discount. They have an ingredient directory that allow you to know exactly what every ingredient if for. Paula’s Choice does not test on animals, or contract people who test on animals. They are also mostly vegan, and try to source products not derived from animals where possible. Also partners with charities.
Alive Skin + Hair
This store has GREAT prices, and heaps of really good brands. I’ve bought a couple of things from here in the past that I needed for specific problems, because they were cheaper here than any other place I could find. Also, a great rewards program.
100% Pure
Not only does 100% Pure have really good products for good prices, they’re the most environmentally friendly and natural brand I’ve ever seen. They dye their makeup with fruit dye, are 100% cruelty free and donate to animal welfare charities. According to their about section, their office is run by solar energy and their “pure, biodegradable formulas are packaged with post consumer recycled plastic, glass, soda cans, paper and printed with biodegradable non toxic vegetable ink.” So that’s awesome. Definitely a company to support.
Lhami
I really adore Lhami products (and they make great gifts). This is an Australian brand that only uses Certified Organic materials, and is certified cruelty free. It has skincare, bath products, oils, frangrances, and makeup.
Shop Naturally
Shop Naturally is great for natural, safe products at good prices. As well as skincare and beauty, they sell kitchen and home wears, food, and stuff like that. They use natural ingredients, recycle as much as possible, and have several charity partners, including a school in Tanzania. They also have a “marketing manifesto” which basically says they don’t hype up stupid products and are honest. Which is a nice change from a lot of natural brands.
iHerb
iHerb is AMAZING. It’s got everything from skincare to food, and you can find amazing products you mightn’t have seen before that are super cheap. They also partner with heaps charities, recycle everything they can, and many of their shipments are carbon neutral.
Nourished Life
Heaps of really good skincare brands. They only stock products that are toxin-free, cruelty free, organic, and environmentally friendly. They have good prices and a really good loyalty program. Nourished Life also partners with several charities.
Botani
Botani is an Australian brand that uses only botanical ingredients. I bought a serum from them that did wonders of some old acne scars. It does not use any animal derived products, so it is cruelty free and vegan. They use recycled and eco-friendly packaging.
