How to fake your own death 101 /nsrs /j
OKAYYYY, so. I've realised trying to get myself to write a cohesive story for stuff kinda makes all of my motivation shrivel up and die, so instead you will get a yap session @emilynyaesmp @clownilly @voidy-lux
Remember when I said that no-one knew about Evelyn's plan to fake her death? Yea, I kinda lied. Meet Ethan, a trusted elven knight of Solaria and the main person who helped Evelyn fake her death. He has seen first hand everything that has happened to Evelyn, so he understands her and her situation the best and that's why he's helping :3
Evelyn was still the person who planned everything, but he helped get access to different things, as it was much less suspicious and noticeable when a knight went around compared to the crown heir.
To start with, Evelyn asked Ethan to find at least 3 prisoners across both Solaria and the Avian Kingdom who met the following criteria: 1) were already being sentenced to death (the king was very uhhh... trigger-happy...), 2) were the main providers for their families or at least a big enough influence, 3) whose families would potentially already be considering with leaving both kingdoms, 4) they couldn't have any form of relationship between each other beforehand. There were some other details, but those were the main criteria. They would convince the prisoners to help in exchange for their families to be compensated very well. Luckily for her, they found their 3 willing participants! (She also got one of the mages of Solaria to help and paid handsome hush hush money.)
Now for the plan: Ethan would be away on a mission, effectively removing him from the suspicion list. Illy had left Solaria several weeks prior to also remove suspicions from it. Prisoner 1 (who was also an owl type avian) would be changed to look like Evelyn using an illusion spell from the mage. The other two would alter their appearance enough to not be recognised as their real selves. Evelyn would break the bars on her windows, causing enough a ruckus to alert the guards around her chambers. She would jump out the window, landing safely and consuming an invisibility potion to hide.
The 3 prisoners would act out the following scene: two kidnappers are trying to drag the poor crown heir away, but she's being too difficult and the guards are starting to catch up. So, they cut her neck and stab her in the heart, swiftly ending her life. There is nothing to be done, as by the time the guards reach her, she's already far gone past the possibility to save her. The two kidnappers are caught and immediately sentenced to death.
The illusion spell remains all the way until her casket is properly buried and the funeral is over (They also made the prisoner look more like Evelyn beforehand, so in the case where the body is checked (which shouldn't happen for a while) it will have hopefully decomposed enough to not be recognisable as someone else).
The families of the prisoners are paid and advised to leave both the kingdoms. The mage decides to leave also by themself, as it's easier for them. Ethan will continue his duties and will take Evelyn's secret and the whole plan to the grave with him.
During all that, Evelyn will go to the agreed upon meet up spot where Illy is waiting for her and she will live out her life as a normal person, a 22 year old woman named Li ???.
