Fifth Doctoring it up at LI-Con2.
Specifically, Five’s “Planet of Fire” look, which is a nice variant for a summer con (it’s in the upper 80s today, and this was pretty comfortable). If I go to a cooler weather convention (trying to see if anyone wants to go to LI Who with me …), I’m thinking about working on getting/making the sweater and coat from the rest of the costume.
*goes to the first night of LI-Con* *squints at inscrutably cosplaying teenagers*
I’m going to assume half of what I don’t recognize is anime, and the other half is … Homestuck, maybe? Lots of kids with big fake ears.
(I hope they're having fun - the con is still good as an adult, but it's not as exciting as it was when I was 14).
(Dressed as fem!Ninth Doctor - will take pictures if I wear it again on Sunday. No one but my friend Mar picked up on it, but that’s not surprising. Fem!Nine is pretty much just everyday clothes, and he’s an unjustly unpopular Doctor anyway. There’s a Dr Who meetup tomorrow, so I’m going to go as a “Planet of Fire”-specific Fifth Doctor. Definitely pictures of that, I’m pretty happy with how it’s come out).

LI-Con 2 Hotel Roomies
LI-Con 2 announcement: We are currently looking for roomies to room with us for LI-Con 2. More information is to come, but from what I have at the moment - we are staying at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, where the convention is held as well.
We do ask for those who are interested to follow the rule: > Females only > No Smoking > No Alcohol > No Drugs > Absolutely No Room Service
