As the world buckles under the relentless pulse of The Signal Tower, Mono takes refuge where he can. His thin paper mask offers some respite, helping him forget that the world outside hates him, and wants him to fail - but he can't stay hidden forever.

This theory has probably been brought up already but it won’t leave my head!!

So the entire time Six is with Mono he’s wearing his paper bag (ignoring non-canon compliant cosmetic hats) so she never saw his face until the very end of the game and probably only got a good look at it when she caught him at the very end so did Six recognize Mono as the Thin Man or the man who was responsible for doing the signal tower’s dirty work?

She had been pulling him away from TVs when she could and kept him from reaching the door to release the Thin Man so she might have been more aware of the danger. Or it could just be because the TV corrupts everyone and that’s why she was pulling him out of them. But when Six let Mono drop she could have been trying to kill him to either save him from becoming the Thin Man or just killing him so he couldn’t cause the damage he would when he grew up.

But in the end, whatever her goal was it didn’t matter because the fall didn’t kill him, it just trapped him within the signal tower and began the time paradox. Whether Six just wanted him dead or was trying to stop him from becoming a monster being the Scar to his Mufasa was what caused the Thin Man to exist in the first place.

It's been a long time since I've played the game, but if I remember correctly, to walk on water, if you climb up a hill under a bridge you will fall and slide down onto the river. As long as you stay away from the shore you should be able to walk anywhere
