The growl that was rolling out of the beast slowly turned to a groan as bones moved and muscles shifted, pulling the deformed body back into something that resembled human and then was human. 

Liam let himself lay there on the cool earth and catch his breath, the ground felt good beneath him and he didn’t want to get up. But of course he had to, humans didn’t lay in dirt and grass. Animals did.

Liam was barely breathing, watching Roxanne like a hawk as she slowly unbuttoned his dress blues coat. She got this little furrow between her eyes when she was concentrating, and in any other moment, Liam would think it's cute. But right now, he was more focused on her fingers and how slow they were moving. "Come on baby..."

If you could invite one person to come to your wedding who is not alive, who would it be and why?

Emrys:

“That’s easy. My grandmother. I personally think that she and Nates grandmother would get along famously. Also I miss her every day.”

Liam:

“My dad. I’d love to be able to introduce Roxanne to him, to have him see the man I’ve become…have him see his only child get married to the woman he loves…”

Liam sighed, leaning against the door for a moment as he just watched his fiancé.

"I told you that you'd get sick ewring that cover up." He pulled out his phone to text his mother, asking her if she could possibly make some Estrellita Sopita for Roxanne. "You're so lucky my mom's home already."

He slipped his phone back into his pocket and walked over to the woman he loved. "Bed. I'll call Darren and tell him you can't work."

💭 (first memory of Roxy)

Day one. Get moved in.

Day two would be to meet the CI and get ingraciated in the gang.

But day one was move in.

He was almost done. His "apartment" looked messy, and he would never actually leave it like this. But he was his character, not himself. He barely even looked like himself now. Which was fine. It was a short undercover, and he could shave and cut his hair soon.

He stepped out his front door to grab the last of the boxes, lost in thought when he heard some keys drop. Looking up was a mistake.

The woman was beautiful.

He couldn't help but smile at her, try to put her at ease. She seemed flustered, and he didn't like that. His wolf was instantly there, he liked her too. That would be a problem.

She waved and quickly went into her own apartment, and liam just stood there for a moment.

"Of course, it's when I'm undercover. I meet a cute girl..."
