This is one of ten (and counting) articles highlighting Liam's Law in the press.
Please keep sharing and sign the petition so that we can get parliament and other governing bodies to enact laws and legislation that protect all artists in the music industry.
I am honestly quite shocked and disgusted by the state of this petition... What have we become as a fandom - as humans - that we can't get this the number of signatures it needs? Liam deserved better and all the british artists deserve better and just for the hope that this petition could bring we should all be talking about it and sending it to every single british person ( or resident!) we know.
Please - for the love of Liam, One Direction and music - sign this
We think large entertainment companies should be held accountable and responsible for the welfare of their artists. We implore the Governmen
Sign the petition and share to protect more young artists from being taken advantage of in the industry. #Liam'sLaw is in honor of Liam Payne who died after falling off a balcony while fighting his addiction.
Enact Legislation to Safeguard Artists' Mental Health in the Entertainment Industry
The person behind Liam's law is doing this for all the wrong reasons. I'm all for Liam getting something done in his honour but it should come from his family, not an attention seeker. They didn't give his family a minute to process it before they jumped at the chance to get attention and likes
Liam B-Day Month Celebration. Day 7: Fave Liam gif(s).
I have been postponing this post because it's really hard for me to look for content of Liam. Just seeing old posts always makes me sad but it's part of the grief. So here are a few of my favorite gifs of him laughing:
He sometimes claps while laughing:
Or clapping and holding his legs (my favorite gif):
Or he covers his mouth:
Or he covers his whole face:
Or he hugs himself:
Or he has to move his body like this for so much laugh:
Another favorite gif that I can't put here but go check Liam looking at Louis with sparkling eyes.
Join the Liam B-Day Month Celebration here (week 1 & 2).
Please sign up the Liam's law petition or reblog the post if you are not from the UK, we have until August 19th.
Just because that's how it's always been, doesn't mean that's how it always has to be. I think now that there is more knowledge about mental health, development, etc there are ways to make it better and safer. It's not a fail safe, but is something in the right direction.
There's a limit to what the government can insist on. Making therapy compulsory for all adult artists is too big an ask. Minors, yes.
"After Liam Payne tragically passed away a week ago, @mcflymusic ‘s @tomfletcher is calling for more safe-guarding in the music industry.
It’s a sentiment that reflects what millions of directioners are feeling, as fans have united to create Liam’s Law - a petition asking for musicians to have better mental health support."
