Liam hadn’t been expecting to meet his soulmate that day. Even if the number on his wrist was lowering by the second, he’d given up on checking it years ago. After a long period of wondering who his soulmate would be, the young man had just given up worrying about it- there were more important things to focus on.
It had always bugged him- being born with a number that counted down- as he believed it took out the surprise and instead replaced it with something you knew would be coming, and when it would be. However, since basically forgetting the countdown even existed he’d stopped expecting it to happen. And, this was just another ordinary day— nothing special could possibly come out of it.
Sitting on a bench in the park, Liam slipped his mobile out from his pocket. However, after a second it slipped from his hands, falling down onto the concrete below. Sighing, he reached down, but saw someone was standing right in front of where his mobile was laying. Since he was looking down, and had his arm extended to get his mobile, he happened to see the little number on his wrist; it was seconds away from hitting 00:00:00. Taking in a sharp intake of breath, he then swallowed. 00:00:03.. 00:00:02.. 00:00:01..
Liam let his eyes quickly wander up to the man in front of him, his hand picking up the mobile. 00:00:00
"H-Hi." He breathed out, his voice a little shaky, but with a certain calm tone to it. Apparently this did come as a surprise, considering he had no idea that it would happen any time soon.
Robin looked at the man a little confused until he caught sight of his wrist only for him to stare down at him own seeing it had also reached 00:00:00 but that wasn't possible.
Looking up he shook his head "Hi but this can't be possible.... My timer it said 02:07:49 this morning. Now... Now you're... I... Hello" Robin chuckled his head fuzzy from the experience that was happening right now before he looked at he male again.
"Liam right?" he asked smiling softly still a little confused how any of this was possible before he clicked. "The bus! I got on the wrong bus this morning and I saw a women staring at my wrist and she just smiled. i thought nothing on it but thanks to me sleeping in I well... You're here"
