-- Jakurai’s nearly finished with his work. He has some rounds to do, and then he’ll be able to be off for the day. It’s just a little longer.
It’s not that he dislikes his work. He greatly enjoys it. But he’s had to tell two families that their beloved won’t make it through the week today, so he’s feeling a little drained.
He thinks he’ll stop at the vending machine to grab some coffee before finishing everything up, and as he turns the corner in the otherwise vacant hall with the machine, he slows to a stop near it, finding it already being used.
“... Gentarou-kun, hello.”
