“There was once a land that was scorched by flames that kissed the grey sky. Smoke filled the air and choked anyone within the vacinity, littering the lands with corpses that are now decayed into brittle bones, hands against where their throats once were. It’s a gruesome sight, but some say that when the moon shines over the corpses, people can see the young couples that perished in the fire dance in the moonlight to a beautiful sonata. It’s as if the fire never destroyed anything, but created new life that only those with a positive outlook could understand.
It’s a beautiful tragedy… But it’s all a lie.”
“Ya do realize I didn’ ask, righ’?” {/She wasn’t trying to be rude in the slightest, but Nicole had no interest in hearing these stories. They didn’t interest her. She didn’t have a positive outlook, and didn’t want one. At least this guy had the genius to know it was all a lie. That these things didn’t really happen and it’s all false hopes that things can turn out right from bad things. Regardless, she’s going to listen. He obviously wanted to tell her for a reason, so it was only nice that she listen.}
“...Cool story, bro. Now uhh...wha’ was tha poin’ o’ this if i’s all a lie?”
