O que Carmelia fazia no show nem mesmo ela sabia. Tudo bem que aquela era boate de seu irmão, e mesmo ele falando que ela já havia provado seu ponto quando estava com Wyatt, a garota ainda estava ali. Por mais que ela mentisse falando que estava ali para perturbar seu irmão não era verdade. Uma das razões para poder estar ali é que mesmo com a ajuda de Nic ao fazer chás. Não importava quantos ela tomasse, ainda continuava abraçando os travesseiros, e olhando para o teto. Quando não tinha a certeza de que estava ouvindo barulhos estranhos no quarto. Ela sempre fora uma garota medrosa, mas isso a fazia lembrar das vezes que o antigo namorado ia mesmo sabendo que fantasmas não existiam somente para fazê-la se sentir bem.  O problema era que Carmelia não podia mais contar com Wyatt para confortá-la, e uma das coisas que a fazia se acalmar era dançar. Ela preferia balé, mas não era tão ruim estar ali. Sabia que encontraria algum de seus amigos por ali. O que não esperava era ser noite de show. Assim que ela tinha descoberto, pensou em ir embora. Ela deveria ter ido embora, mas continuou ali.

Agarrada a antiga jaqueta de couro que não pertencia ela. Ela havia devolvido boa parte das roupas para ele, mas algumas ela havia se apegado tanto que usava sem nem mesmo lembrar que era dele, mas quando o via e olhava para si mesma era como se conseguisse se lembrar de tudo. O que foi pior, pois isso sem dúvidas significava que Wyatt também perceberia que ela estava usando a jaqueta dele. Ela não queria chamar a atenção do garoto. Não depois da forma como eles terminaram. Carmelia só usava discussão como último recurso, e naquele dia se ela pudesse gritar ela teria gritado. Dias depois, ela percebeu lembrando-se de tudo que talvez ela tivesse agido impulsivamente. Ela estava com tanto medo que seu coração fosse quebrado, que acabara quebrando tanto de Wyatt quanto o dela ao se separar dele. Sua teimosia fazia com que ela não se arrependesse e voltasse atrás, mas vendo ele ali era bem difícil.

Terminou por ficar ali, apoiada em uma das paredes apenas vendo tudo. E ao final, ela quis ir embora quando viu várias garotas cercarem a banda. Revirou os olhos. Ela tinha vontade de ir até lá e conversar com Wyatt, mas não queria ceder. E também, nem mesmo sabia o que poderia conversar com ele. O ápice foi ao ver várias garotas reunidas ao redor dele, e vendo a forma como ele estava sorrindo. Ela sabia dentro dela. Era assim todas as noites após os shows. Havia sido por isso que ela havia terminado com ele. Tudo que ela conseguiu fazer foi se aproximar o suficiente para que Wyatt a visse, e ela falou bem claro para que ele a entendesse. “Eu sabia. Era exatamente sobre isso que eu falei.” Então, a loira deu de ombros, e tentou segurar suas emoções. Não sabia se queria chorar, gritar, ou simplesmente ir embora. Ela não estava pronta para dizer adeus, mas algo dela sabia que era o certo a se fazer. Ela balançava a cabeça em sinal de reprovação enquanto esperava alguma reação de Wyatt.
