i have this book “Libellensommer” (2006) by Antje Babendererde (german author) and the main characters are Jodie, a white girl, and Jay, a native canadian boy.

and i just noticed the odd parallels to beyond: two souls (2013), where the main character Jodie, a white girl, meets Jay, a Navajo.

but i guess it’s just coincidence
