Over ten years ago, I watched someone play through Beyond Two Souls. I don't remember which YouTuber, I don't remember how long ago, but I've been searching for a way to play it myself ever since.
YESTERDAY, I got this sales notification, and you fucking BET I own the game now!!!
I bought the disk off ebay a year or so ago to play on my ex's Playstation, but didn't do enough research... The PS5 doesn't run PS3 disks. It would've worked if I bought the PS4 version, but I no longer have access to a Playstation lol. Lost cause either way.
Anyway! Beyond Two Souls on Steam for $0.99! Hell yeah!!!
What games should I buy this Steam sale (I'll probably buy two)(also no promises on following the advice but I'll put it into consideration)

I'm a big BG3 fan, so I'm thinking about DOS2 and the first two Baldur's Gates.
I like the Mafia games, and a lot of Mafia game fans like LA Noire, it seems to me. It feels like a similar kind of game, just from the other side of the law.
I like Detroit: Become Human, despite its flaws, and interactive movie-type games overall. I heard that between Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, the latter is more worth a damn. And it's 2 euros.
I just keep hearing that RDR2 is an absolute banger. I like the Witcher, and I feel like these games' fandoms overlap, but Steam says the game is similar to KCD1, which I'm not really enjoying so far.
I'm currently leaning towards RDR2 and LA Noire, but not decided yet.
Wouldn't it be so fucking funny if I made a Twilight Au where Connor is Edward Cullen and Bella is Jodie Holmes but Edward evades people because he's a socially awkward detective and Bella stalks him because Bella is a policewoman and thinks Edward is secretely the serial killer

Ps2: I don't know who would be Jacob, i want Markus to be a Cullen but i think he also sticks as Jacob but I don't see Markus as an love interest for Jodie so let's say maybe Jacob is Ryan but without the Refrigerator- RENEESME- I mean, cofcof, the baby drama

Summary:
Connor was given a new case with hank, nothing out of normal it seemed, the case was given to them because the last detective was killed for trying to resolve it, creepy but still manageable, but things are not quite right, and Connor feels that in the prick of his chin.
This killer does not seem to be normal, it's erratic, is random, and overall is playful, as for that they must find who is this killer before the news use it as excuse to make both humans and androids fear each other again despite the whole year of peacefulness the android revolution had gained.
And with that not being enough, this killer is an excellent stalker who will use any piece of Connor's life to play with his head and confuse him, making Connor's mission not just last longer than usual but also consider twice his entire value, as detective, as son, as brother, as boyfriend, as friend, as deviant.
Will he fall or will he endure enough the storm of this psychological game to find who is so willingly using him as toy rather than prey?
Notes:
Jodie Holmes changed her name to Elisabeth North and became policewoman but that story is so long I will not explain it in this fic, I have planned making another explaining how both she and Caine are involved in this universe. Yet if you hear anyone calling her Jodie or Jode instead of Elisabeth or Lis, is because she trusts them (also she's not connected to Aiden anymore but he left her some gifts). Also, she lives with Cole and an android named Suzzane in Detroit. Zoey, Tuesday and company are in Seattle
Caine is now Anderson because as civilians, Androids were obligated to have last names, Caine lives with Connor and Hank
After the law was expelled, the RK900 changed his legal name to Conrad Nines and he lives with Gavin as roomates (SUPER SLOW SLOW-BURN, DO NOT EXPECT SHIPPING CONTENT OF THEM YET IN THIS FIC)
Caine got out of the circus as android with Pomni, Gangle (now Gina), Zooble and Ragatha, Kinger decided not to go along and the circus is basically offline so, yeah, consider him dead. The girls and Zooble live together in an apartment of their own in Jericho but they and Caine still get along

Yeah yeah yeah, detroit/beyond/tadc fanfic with Jodie being in the middle of dimensions freeze in time for long but finally being able to return to reality and now everything is good, no longer condensators but now androids and she decides to be part of police in her new life using her knowledge from the CIA so she can actually help people only for her to realize fucking androids are going out of control but she wants to help as she thinks they're also people so now Jodie is being a pro-android police officer who helps androids as much as she can before things go to hell

Oh and also Connor searching for an strange computer in an abandoned building that ran a program that is basically a circus so now Connor takes it home and met these kind and extravagant people who had been living in said program from years now and gets really attatched to this old IA from 1995 called Caine who recently discovered the term Deviant and he loves it, and is even temptated to go beyond and explore the world as one

Damn, Jodie recently discovered this world that evolved very quickly while she was out but she's glad having Zoey and Cole who by pure God hand are still alive
Connor has no idea how to explain to Hank the feelings he developed towards both Jodie and Caine, but Hank congrats him for making friends other than him and Sumo in his life as Deviant
