Book 30something this year- The Perfect Marriage - A gripping page turner with a clear ending. It’s a very satisfying finish but also worrying in an existential way. Overall: 8-9/10.

Spoilers below:

Personal reflection: Never underestimate anyone in your life especially your partner. Wtf was Adam’s end goal exactly? Sarah gave him about 6 months to leave after having an affairfair for over a year before putting her plan into motion.

Sarah working with Bob and Anne was unexpected. I thought it was completely her own revenge story. I wanted to imagine her as a strong female lead exactly like the women in Working Moms, rather than this being a team thing to ruin one man’s life.

It makes complete sense that Sheriff S is also a member of the Kelly club, he reads like a creep in the book rather than a normal cop. The push for the other deputy to be a creep was tad bit much but he could have just been a dick all his own. Perfect writing on the sheriff, Bob, Sarah and my favorite character, Matthew.
