📖 Once Upon a Book ✨

This model was originally created for a contest, and while it didn’t place this year, the experience was still an important part of my growth as a creator. The contest focused heavily on higher-detail work, and although I aimed for a lower-poly approach based on my understanding at the time, it ultimately wasn’t the direction they were looking for. Next time, I’ll push the detail further without worrying so much about polycount.

Even so, I’m genuinely proud of how this piece turned out, and I didn’t want it to disappear into a folder unseen.

This dreamy scene is inspired by classic fairytales and holiday wonder. A glowing storybook opens into a softly lit staircase, inviting you into a world of imagination, warmth, and timeless magic. Wrapped gifts, sparkling ornaments, and gentle light trails bring the story to life, while watchful eyes in the background hint that this tale may know more than it tells.

Though created for a contest, this scene is meant to be enjoyed freely for storytelling, renders, and creative exploration. Sometimes the most meaningful pieces aren’t the ones that win, but the ones that help us grow.
