The Miniknog experimented on many species, humanoid or otherwise. they kidnap a male and a female, merge their DNA, and attempt to create the hybrid. It has worked at a 79% efficency with non humanoids, 41% with a humanoid and a non humanoid, and a 50% for humanoids. There are 5 known escapees of the experiments, all of whom are hybrids of Metroids and humanoids.
