Crocodia aurata
This lichen is gorgeous! I mean, just look at that neon lobe liner. A real statement piece. This foliose member of the Lobariaceae family forms broad, sinuous, undulating lobes 5-15 mm wide. Lobe magins are covered in bright neon-yellow soredia, and lobe tips are covered in thin, hair-like structures. The upper thallus color is bright green when moist, and turns an ashy gray or tan when dry. The lower surface is pale and tomentose, and is often speckled with bright yellow pseudocyphallae. Apothecia are rare, and form submarginal, glabrous discs. C. aurata can be found in temperate, tropical, and suptropical localities where it colonizes trees in humid, open forests.

Me: “I am lichenthrope.”
Them: “Don’t you mean lycanthrope?”
Me: “No.” *turns into moss*
More DS: Uberwald stuff, plus a new character.
The creatures on the left drawing are as follows: dalmatian pelican, owl/cat, hamsterret, attempted unicorn, catfish, and bone grub.
The creature on the right is Nommer, a male of Glommer's species. Glommer is a girl, right? Anyways, Nommer is a bouncy little insanity preventative that can defend itself from monsters. You can summon Krampus by killing it, but it will chase you.
Inspiration comes from stag beetles and these nice wasps near the garage that haven't been aggressive towards me. They even let me walk in and out without any trouble.
This fella is Wilhelm. He's a modern day FBI agent who got sucked into The Constant after looking into some declassified cases from the early 1900s.
His skills include communication, making guns, subduing opponents, and stealth. I think he'd be able to make weapons, but he'd require gears and ammo.
Also, he'd probably lose sanity from killing innocent creatures or gain less sanity from killing nightmare creatures. I figure that shooting a pig villager or glommer would be against his morals.
This goat thing is a Shammy. They're like the beefalo of the mountains.
Lastly, this is another new boss: The Lichenthrope. It's like a Varg, but it lives in caves and relies more on physical attacks than calling hounds.
just popping in to say that "lichenthrope" is a BRILLIANT pun. i cackled when I saw it.
Lichenthrope is a very interesting pokemon known for its cold and stern personality. Fun fact many trainers don’t know this but they actually warm up to you if you give them a spoonful of apicot jelly. They also don’t really show this to just anyone but they have a hole in the back of their bodies covered by their cape of Alectoria (aka witch hair lichen). Unlike other ghost type pokemon you will not lose your soul if you look into it but you will probably lose your hand if you get close to its children. Here’s a mockup of what a special lichenthrope looks like when it’s using its hidden ability parental bond
