the problem for me is i suck at abosorbing languages so

ah BUT for the last three months of training and for the final test which decides whether or not you get to be a linguist, the tests are multiple choice SO there are people who bullshitted their way through, have really good test taking skills, and i guess study really hard in the year between mandatory DLPTs (defense language proficiency tests, it’s the final test)

#lichkinged #the initial training though is really hard #it's a stressful environment and each language has a time limit for you to learn unless you get academically rolled back #which gives you more time #but like #you only get a year to learn farsi #and year and a half for arabic #six months for spanish etc
